I assume they want us to annex all our territories. We ask you this: What damage has Norskandia done to you aside from preventing your armies of death from marching to us?

OOC: I'm posting this ooc now given the proximity of the lock and I can't guarantee that both PF will repond to my last message and that I will see it in time.
Negotiations are underway for Norskandia to become a semi-autonomous member state of the Celtic Union. Under the terms proposed by the Union, Norskandia will cede 50% income and control over foreign policy - including military end espionage matters - to the Union and make reparations to the Merchant Republic and Romania-Yugoslavia. Should this be approved by both parties then Norskandia will become part of the Celtic Union and further attacks on Norskandia will be considered an act of war against the Celtic Union.
This is an OOC heads up to allow people to alter orders, if negotiations are completed in time I'll post a full RP here prior to the lock so you may want to make conditional orders (if that's allowed).

The state of Norskandia has requested admission to the Celtic Union as a protectorate. We have considered the matter, particularly the statements from the Merchant Republic that indicate they intend to step outside the bounds of the codes of civilised warfare, and have come to a decision.

The Celtic Union hereby accepts Norskandia as a non-electoral, semi-autonomous constituent of the Union. Under the terms of accession the territory of Norskandia agrees to provide 50% of trade and industry income to the Celtic Union as tribute and turn over control of foreign policy, including military and intelligence activities, to the High King.
The Celtiuc Union agrees to protect Norskandia from all foes and safeguard her international trade routes.
The Celtic Union acknowledges a state of war exists between the nation of Norskandia and the alliance of the Merchant Republic of Italia and Romania-Yugoslavia. We give notice to the alliance that given the extinction of the de jure state of Norskandia this conflict has ended, however the territory of Norskandia will make reparations to the alliance, terms to be discussed between the Celtic Union as a whole, the territory of Norskandia and the alliance. Any further attacks on Norskandia will be viewed as an act of war against the Celtic Union and a call to arms shall be issued to our allies.

You're joking? Norskandia will not secede any lands. We will only go under the Celt's wing if we get our one stole province back, and we keep what we currently have. There are plenty of empty places to expand.


The Norse recognize the Celts as our protectors, but we will not allow them to make territory and peace negotiations without our input first.
