I suppose I could make two of them instead of a 3rd rate...

2 is enough to max chances of finding the enemy fleet. You need 3 to max your chances of getting Tactical Advantage.

Instead of building the Liberator, I build two 6th rates, the Waterdancer and the Wavecrasher.

edit: Due to peace being reached, instead of building a 1st rate, I use the 4LP on the canal.

I attack the nearby Pirate fleet with my 1st fleet, and deploy 7 of my 10 armies into the Pirate territory in South America. I trust the troops to add more victories to Britain's Glorious History!

Whoever conquered it I think. If I am right it will be fought like this:

Brazil invades. If they win they get the territory, if they lose britain invades.

Britain invades, if they lose pirates keep it, if they win britain gets it.

Britain has arranged the Return of it's captured ships, for the price of 1IP.

1IP is sent to the Pirates.
3IP is spent upgradeing the port in South Africa.
1IP is spent repairing my damaged ships.
The remaining 2IP is spent producing the HMS Orleans.

The 1st fleet (HMS Portsmouth, HMS Prophet, HMS Negotiator, and HMS Cunning) withdraws to the African coast, linking up with the other ships there.

HMS Ravus also heads south to the west african coast, and Joins up with the 1st Fleet, taking a role as it's flagship.

We also Produce the Frigate HMS Orleans in france, launching it into the Atlantic and sailing it south to join the 1st fleet.

The American Republic and Pirates are at peace. I'm sending them 3 IPs a turn and am keeping Southern Mexico and Central America. Spend 4 LP starting construction of the Panama Canal. Spend four on armies.

Attack the two adjacent Canadian provinces with four armies each.

At any rate I build two armies and use everything to attack Amazonas.

His Imperial Majesty the Padishah, upon inheriting the throne from his late father, orders a mass reform of the military. The nation's entire IP output shall be used to build new armies.

The Mughal fleet in the Arabian Sea shall move south to station off the coast of Madagascar and all existing armies have orders to invade and subjugate Madagascar.

I build the Liberator, a 3rd Rate, in the Gulf of Aden.
I work on the canal more.
Any other IP goes to the construction of armies.

@DT, are you and the pirates at peace or war? And are you going to repair the Cunning and the other ships?
