Now that its getting close to a year and my battery is getting weak, I have a few questions: With Apple's warranty, what do they do when you ask for a replacement? Do they just replace the battery, or give you a new iPod? If the latter, then its not useful for me, because I have deleted all the songs on my iPod from my computer, and copying them to the computer and back to the iPod would take up all the space (I'm coming close to my hard drive's capacity on my iPod :crazyeye: ) and take too long because of my crappy USB port. Or, would they copy all my songs from my old iPod to the new one?

So, if that doesn't work, are there any good companies that give you a new battery - perhaps even the fancy new 12-hour one - without hurting your iPod? And for cheap? ;)

It's normally around $99 for a battery replacement.

Go to iPod Lounge for all information and questions iPod related. One of their many FAQs will have the answer to your question.

Yeah, I used to go to that site, but they yell at you if you ask questions.

I guess I should have read the FAQs, which was the most common thing shouted.
