Is It Possible to Add Coal to a Square?

I want to be able to get coal so I can build railroads when the only coal square is already occupied by the enemy.

Are there any cheats or editors that allow you to add a resource to a square?

Go into the editor, add coal somewhere near your territory, then start the game over. So to answer your original question no.

I know the civ3 multi tool has a saved game editor. I think coal can only be found in mountians so make sure you have one of those ^ ^

Unless you've never opened Civ3Edit and played around with it before, there is a way to get one piece of coal. First, press new, make the map the way you want it, without sea, put starting locations, and put one coal somewher by going to resources and coal. Then, the most important step is....




CLICK THE LEFT-MOUSE BUTTON somewhere



and you're done.

Railroad Tycoon 3 is out now. So you could build railroads there, and you don't need any coal.
