Izzy, No Cottages
War starts on this round, just a matter of figuring out what I want and when it can be brought together.
Biz still does not have Metals, so this should be fun. He also may not have Horses.
We'll start the war with 5 Axes, so real soon. We already have 4 spare Axes in Barca. I guess we should also add some Swords when attacking Berlin, and probably a Spear to be safe.
Seville is a little awkward since our religion hasn't spread there yet. Probably a case where we'll want to let it grow unhappy and nail a 2-man whip for a pair of Swords.
I'd like to research Priesthood to build a Temple in Seville, but since we don't have religion there yet it can wait.

Patience exhausted, it's go time. Biz has four cities of which we know the location of three. War!
Why is our worker unable to move from the Gems tile? It didn't start work this turn? Oh well, if Biz captures it we'll take two from him.
675 BC (3)
Buddhism spreads to Seville so I swap research to Priesthood, due in 5. We want a Temple there to run a Priest so we can discover Civil Service. Or build a Shrine if I have the wrong GP type.
No worker of ours captured, so take one from Biz. Pair of City Raider II Axes win and we snag Hamburg without loss. Plenty of plundered cash to bump up the science rate to 100%.
We also trade Fish for Crabs with Alex. Can't hurt.
Biz has a city that might claim Iron so I'll chase that before Berlin. Maybe we'll swing a few Swords by then.
650 BC (4)
Lose an Axe attacking an Archer, then avenge his death by securing a 2nd promotion for another Axe. Biz has a couple of Archers nosing around Barca, but we have that covered.
600 BC (6)
Biz is interested in pillaging, so I'll let him. Eventually his Archers have to come onto flat ground and serve as training for our Swords.
Whip Sword in Seville and shall use most of the overflow on a Temple. Alphabet in 9, but we need more $ from Biz.
525 BC (9)
Start to run a Priest in Seville. Find another German city N of Barca. No border pop, so strictly a training exercise for our Sword.
450 BC (12)
The border on Munich popped this turn, so lose an Axe and a Sword, but capture Munich and score enough gold to continue 100% research.
Find Frankfurt in the N desert. This is the city we leave Biz with in order to get techs for peace.
425 BC (13)
Agree to Open Borders with Greece. Have turned down OB with Liz since she is the likely next target.
375 BC (15)
Alphabet in, set a course for CoL which should complete in the same time frame as the GP.
Missionary built and intended for Munich as we'll have to fight for the Gold (at least until we whack Biz).
Berlin is located in an interesting spot. You can tell it has a common border with London which probably shouldn't happen in these map scripts. The force approaching Berlin probably isn't enough to take the city but a few more units can be scrounged up in the short-term.
Biz has one more city in the fog besides Berlin. I'm guessing N of Munich. He'll already offer us Pottery, Archery, and the verboten Masonry for Peace. After capturing Berlin we can probably get Monarchy instead of Masonry.
The only city I whipped was Seville, so that's open to the next player if he wants to whip a quick bunch of troops. Our cities were building units in 4-5 turns without the whip and we weren't losing many so I didn't feel the need. And I knew we wanted to wait for Alphabet to finish before capturing Berlin so we could be patient on the attack.
No beakers have been put into CoL and the Prophet won't be born for another 27 turns so feel free to pick something else to research. We could get an extra Happy from Alex, I seem to have started us down the path of being his buddy which may not be the best idea. But I think it wouldn't hurt us to eventually have someone to bribe to fight Mansa, and Alex is completely nuts.
We're the only ones with Alphabet. Biz doesn't even have Writing.
