Jamie's Rome 1.3/2.1

...

umm what?

looks like a problem with the theme files (ie the interface colour etc...) what have you done with the mod (where was it put etc). hopefully someone like godemperor will see this... I'll pm him

what you could try is deleting the entire Resource folder in the mod's files? it will remove the red interface colour but it might load up...

have you ever used any other versions ie 1.3.1?

All I did was unzip and tried to play it like any other mod...

This is all i got

Means the hardcoded path in the Resource\themes subfolders does not match the installation location.
Means platyping has either renamed the mod folder, or the name is just plainly wrong (has also happened to me, after making a new version with a new folder name, but forgot to change it in the .thm files).

ahhhh now I gotta find that and make sure it matches, weird thing is: I have never changed the path... so maybe it's plats unzipper has removed something

it should be called in your mod directory:

Jamie'sRome1.3

edit: checked my thm files and they all point to Jamie'sRome1.3 so plats mod name must be different...

It worked for me... In fact, Erp has conquered the British Isles. :D

one of my favorite passtimes :D do your brython cities have a +1 AARRRG in them? might be a problem for you :p I always raze brython cities and rebuild thanks to their power :D

which of those cities did you found? typically I always end up with norwico instead of eburacum (i think to the east or to north east)

really?! bristollie? that normally goes to the bython. well done getting that spot :D keep posting screenshot as interesting things happen :D I like to see others playing it

Eh, I rushed BW, and spammed Druids. They have 6 strength, so their odds against archers are actually ~60%. They never had a chance to build a settler.

Did you install the mod into the [My] Documents/[My] Games/etc.../Mod folder (whatever they are called on the version of Windows you are using)? If so, that is the issue: mods that modify the interface theme don't work properly if installed there, they have to be under the installation folder.

Also, as already mentioned by others, the mod's folder name must be what it is expecting it to be.

There might also be something in CustomAssets that is interfering, so setting "NoCustomAssets = 1" in the mod's .ini file could help.

@God-Emperor thanks for the response!

@topsecret your world might end up like this :

like god-emperor said make sure it is in in the C:\Program Files\2K Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Beyond the Sword\Mods folder (or whatever it is for you, probably simmilar) instead of my documents

check the name of the mod is Jamie'sRome1.3 (the folder)

if those dont work, try deleting the Resource folder from inside the mod and in Jamie'sRome1.3/assets/xml/art delete the ArtDefinesMisc xml file!!! DO NOT DELETE FILES FROM ORIGINAL BTS INSTALL (just incase you didn't know :p)

other than that I really don't know

I found the problem lol.

As expected, it is the mod name.
It is because the expected mod's name is Jamie'sRome1.3
But the zipped file is JamiesRome1.3
So it automatically unzipped as that...

hmmm figures haha

I wouldn't have thought you did much playing these days :p tell me if you enjoy it

You are right :D
Don't really have much time to play nowadays, but always good to learn from others' works
Also to loot some wonders names :D

Note:
Many civilopedia entries are pretty much pointing to original entries though, so they don't really fit what the wonders are
