I plan to destroy everyone eventually because I am shooting for conquest.

Buying Education was a good thing. If you would have waited until another civ had Education, it probably would have been some time while the mayans could have reasarched Astronomy and further.

I am now the new tech leader, so getting education helped speed the progress up into astronomy. I want to get boats that can cross the ocean to meet the other two civilizations.

I accept this deal I made with the Russians, it also says that we were "friends" of the Celts!

A look at the four civilizations that live in the eastern world.

I was trying to get that wonder, just to keep it out of the AI's hands.

The Russians have now gained two cities out of this war. That's better than my zero.

Carthage is a very spread apart empire, so units pack around them as I declare war.

My two armies were good enough to get Hippo.

And Utica falls, it is a more important city than Hippo was.

Driving me closer to getting ships that can cross the ocean.

As with selling my new tech, the Mayans were the only ones wealthy enough to buy it off me.

After losing this city, a mainland counterattack from Carthage was out of the question.

Next time - How will my two front war play out, will Russia get stronger, and will I ever find the other two civilizations?

To start a closing to this war, the capital Carthage is taken. I also got the Oracle, but it needs to be much farther north to have any effect.

Carthage is down to one city, I think...

I realized that Carthage has another city somewhere else, maybe on an island somewhere.

Finally, I make some progress on the Mongol front.

The Russians have gotten two cities out of this war, the Mayans have one, and I have one.

After I hit 50% land area, I will raze every city in sight to ensure me a conquest victory. Culture is not a problem, I am very weak on that.

Magnetism in seven turns, boats will soon be built to find the two remaining civilizations.

With that, the war with Carthage ends, and they got lucky with their "island" city.

What they gave me was next to nothing. You can see their last city.

The Mayans have found the Koreans! I trade Physics for Military Tradition so I can get the Calvery unit.

If Egypt isn't going to give me money anymore, there is no reason to keep them around.

Looking at Seoul, it looks like they got one of the worst starting positions that I have even seen!

Not even in the middle of the Anicent Age, this is pathetic. They also do not have any other cities, so it looks like Korea is already a dead player in this game.

I can now build ships, and I got a scientific leader! I don't want to use it now, I'll wait later.

I captured the capitals of the Mongols and Egyptians empires in the same turn.

For Egypt, they are done.

I always need more money to keep the science rate at 100%!

Korea even has a lower score than the Arabians, a civilization that only had five cities and I killed over 100 turns ago.

As for other real-life far east nations, they are doing poorly, except for me.

My money dipped into the negative, that means it time to sell technology to someone.

The last few cities of the Mongol empire crumble and fall to me.

The Mongols are down to one city, either the Russians or the Mayans will take it soon. I don't bother because my units won't get to the city fast enough. Hopefully they live for 20 turns so I can collect my 40 gold.

Actually, I wanted to declare war on the Greeks, but this looks better on the international community. They had a few troops in my territory.

The Mayans have discovered Navigation, I buy that off of them.

My improved world map can see the world a little more clearly.

As for the war with Greece, I take some gains, while destroying their units in my territory.

The Russians got the last Mongol city, so that's what you get when you declare war on me!

I also need some marines, since they are on a one-city island.

I meet with the Aztecs. I trade him for a world map.

Looking at some of the city names, it is clear the China was here and was destroyed. The Aztecs have a fat piece of land, but they are still in the Ancient Age.

As for Greece, they only have 3 cities left.

And the capital goes.

Another wonder for the Mayans, but it beats Russia getting it.

That takes care of Greece, next target is Scandinavia.

I make good money on this deal, and the Mayans are less of a threat than the Russians as well.

I am now into the industrial age.

The Aztecs seem to have tons of units, but 15 calvery should take care of it.

Actually, the Aztecs are going to be last, since they can't get off their island for a long time and colonize cities on my mainland after I start razing them. I get rid of Korea, so they don't mess me up in the long run.

I can now build armies, but it does take awhile.

It took two turns, but the attack on Seoul was successful.

Out of the 15 AI, only 6 are left. For seven, I was the cause of their demise.

The Incans are slightly behind in technology compared to the Russians and the Mayans, but they aren't doing too bad.

And since the Scandinavians had units in my territory, I told them to withdraw or declare war. They declared war, and with 70 military units, this will be a cakewalk.

Cavalry are doing a great job. Their increased movement and attack make them great fighters.

That stack collected after the Mongol war and was sent to the Scandinavian front.

I'm still putting those armies to use, but their power will dwindle if the Russians get Riflemen.

Next time - Increased tension between me and the Russians. Will they launch an attack?

Moving on, I push in more into the Scandinavian core.

Even at the maximum science rate, Electricity will take 11 turns.

At the start of the war, I forgot that was there. But those fast-moving Cavalry took the city quickly.

This wraps up my part in the war.

The Russians helped me get to one city that I couldn't get to.

Russia is now my next big target, and units are stacking up.

Electricity is worth a fortune to the other civs. I won't get the full 156 gold per turn if I delcare war on Russia, but this tech leads them to a dead end by the time I will get to them.

About the 1 tile Carthaginian city, you could have allied with the scandinavians against them and hoped that their berserkers would raze the city so you can swoop in with a settler and claim the tile
But I guess that would have taken too much work.

For things like this if I just want them wiped out ASAP I would make peace with them, and trade them a bunch of techs or gold for the offshore city, then re-declare and take their capital.

Of course, that more or less goes against the spirit of the game...

That city was big at one time, and I am sure the Scandinavians would have kept it.

I attempted that, they would not budge for any amount. I think leaving it alone is not a huge problem, since I still have four large civs to take care of.

My score is three times higher than anyone else and my power is six times higher than the current front-runner, the Russians.

About every Mayan city has a wonder sitting in it.

I have 52% of world area, so most of the cities from now on will be razed.

If I declare war on the Russians, I will lose a ton of income, so some other deals are made to help.

This tech will help me become the frontrunner in technology. Replaceable Parts and Industrialization are the techs I get.

The time comes when war breaks. I have five fronts set up for this war, what a mess!

Alliances are signed with the Mayans and the Incas to help aid the war effort. I was suprised that they didn't ask for more!

One of the fronts are located in the far south, and they slowly crawl up western Russia.

Four razed cities on the first turn for me, and the Incas get two cities, so the war is off to a great start! But the Russians did wipe out one front so far.

I need a much needed cash boost, and this is the way to do it!

Next time - How will the rest of the war with Russia go?

I'm watching the Nikkei now, currently down almost 700 points or 4.4%.
