Jesuit Education not working with Acropolis (Fixed)

Game version: 1.0.0.26 (221715)

I was playing as Pericles's Greece. When I founded a religion, I picked the Jesuit Education belief, which should allow me to buy Campus and Theatre district buildings with faith. I assumed it would include the Greek Acropolis, which is a Theatre replacement. If that is not the case, then this is probably not a bug, but inentional minor handicap of Acropolis.

Anyway, I built the Acropolis district, but when I opened the purchase with faith menu, it was empty. The Amphiteater building was displayed in both construction and gold buying windows, but not in the faith buying. Then I built a Holy Site district in a city, thinking that maybe all faith buying is tied to it. Once Holy Site was finished, the Pagoda religions building appeared in the faith menu, but still no Amphiteater.

By the way I didn't built any Campus district, so I cannot say if this (hopefully) bug affects only the Acropolis, or the belief as a whole is not working.

I post a save file after the bug has manifested itself. This save file is ca. 3 turns after I found the bug. Unfortutanely, I don't have save files from before I built Acropolis districts, or founded the religion, as I did both very early on and those autosaves are overwritten :-/

This happened to me as well and I came here to post. It happened to me with Gorgo's Greece, could not faith purchase buildings in theatre district. Can probably grab a save if you need another.

OK, I'm confused. You said you picked Jesuit Education, but Jesuit Education is not one of your religion's beliefs. For Eastern Orthodoxy, I see Pagodas, Reliquaries, Papal Primacy and Scripture.

Jesuit Education is part of Catholicism, but Catholicism is not the majority religion n any of your cities (it is only majority in two Brazilian cities).

I'm sorry for the trouble, I overlooked the dates on the save files and uploaded a wrong one, from previous game. This one is the correct one. I apologize for the trouble and delay :-(

I can confirm, Acropolis doesn't get the cultural buildings benefit from Jesuitic Education, but Campus does, I can purchase a Library with faith

One of Gorgo's unique traits is the "Acropolis" instead of Theatre Square.

When creating a religion with "Jesuit Education" that allows purchasing Theatre Square district buildings with faith, it is not working for Gorgo.

Well, you're in luck, I just started a game with Gorgo where I had a Save right before I founded my Religion so I chose Jesuit Education and sure enough it works now...

score one for Firaxis.
