JNES: Civilizations II

I am having trouble with orders actually. I dont know what to do. I understand how rules work and things like that but I cant think of what to do? I mean I dont have any ideas for building projects or anything and there is no one I really want to invade or anything. So is there anything else I can do? I also dont know much about this nation. Any ideas?

Invest in advancing your nation.. be it better schooling, better training for your forces.

What do you want to achieve with the nation you are in control of? Think of a far off goal and start progressing towards it.

OOC: Just a random point, but, looking at the map, doesn't Sardinia belong to the Sepusi Republic, not Carthage? The colors certainly seem to be a lot closer...

Besides, wouldn't that be hilarious? :p

Diddo. But he/she/it might be talking about an order format as I know that I was confused by it before.

A general order format that I use usually goes like this:

Title: Orders/NES name/nation and player name

Stats

Trade agreements, Peace talks, etc... all diplo related issues and other issues concerning other nations not yours.

Domestic orders: Put spending, construction projects, and all things related to internal national issues.

Military orders: Include marching orders, defense locations, building of forts, reinforcements and general defense plans.

Always a good idea to keep Offensive and defensive plans separate and easy to distinguish for the Mod so he doesn't confuse one for the other. Also surprise attacks, or invasions that are important for you and wish to see enacted exactly according to plan should be bold and made so the Mod knows the importance of this plan and so he/she can do his/her best to follow your plan.

Then miscellenious stuff here, leader events (I.E President tours country... etc), birth of a child if it is an NES that does not follow a set line IRL (in real life). And so on...

Sorry for the double post, but Jason, in case you forgot, when doing the Canfre-Carthaginian war, remember that the general in charge is General Aurelius. (Forgot to add it in the orders and just remembered that I forgot. :p Much thanks!) He was the General I hired in my story and it would seem odd if another General suddenly showed up. ;)

ETA?

:anticipation

Sorry guys finals are here AND i had to help my parents move into a new house this weekend. I was going to do the update the night of the move, but lo' and behold, the new house does not have cable/internet hooked up yet.

An this post is made when it could have included the update? :p

Any idea how much longer? I want to see flames licking over the walls of Carthage by tomorrow, General Aurelius!! :D Long live Rom.... errr... Canfre!

Been a while. ETA?

I'm putting off the start of the NES until I return from Spring Break so there won't be a big pause between the first and second updates.

Putting off the start of the NES? Oh, false alarm... I thought the NES started already. Stupid me.

When does spring break end? My sister goes to University and hers ended last Wednesday.

Mine starts next week. Probably the same for him.
