[Strider]

This citizens group is a cooperate effort by Ginger_Ale and myself. The purpose of this citizen group is to write articles or stories for the frontpage, and we will also be putting together a newspaper.

If you wish to write articles or stories for the frontpage/newspaper just state so here. You can write about anything you wish, as long as it follows forum rules and is about the demogame.

Also, if you wish to get the newspaper sent to you VIA PM, please state here also.

Oooh, sounds like a good name. The goal of this newspaper is mostly for people who aren't in the turnchat to learn what goes on every 10 turns (or 20 - which should we do? 20 allows for more info, I think). Also, it can go on the front page as sort of an update.

Btw, Strider, (see my thread in the Government forum for statistics), perhaps I should gather statistics that we can also include in the newspaper?

The Newspaper will contain (as of now) the following:

Game Update (what's going on, recent issues, etc.)
RPG Update (New stories, rule changes, etc.)
Judicial Activity (Judicial Rulines, Citizen Complaints, etc.)
Statistics (Mainly Game Statistics, might include some "humorous" stats later though)

If I missed anything, I'm sure GA will correct me.

Strider and I are thinking of the Japanese Sun (Times?) ... it's up to Strider if he wants to add in the Times part. We're pretty much done with the Judicial and Game Updates section, so tonight we'll hopefully get the statistics and RPG stuff done.

I am a citizen of 1BigCommunity and Noitazilivic. The 1BC DGame has finished and we are starting a new DGame over at NOIT because there is better hosting abilities for the Admins. Anyway, I wanted to know If I could advertise in this community's newspaper. I did not see anything else other than this as a newspaper, so I was just wondering when you might have your first edition published? And can I please have an advertisement in your paper?

As long as it is not obtrusive, maybe a text link at the bottom would work? However, many people would prefer not to have advertisements in PMs. In fact, I think it is enough to keep a link in your sig - you'll get more results that way.

I see no problem in including a short paragraph at the bottom with a link to the new DG. I do not think however, that it will yeild many results.

If you can write a brief paragraph (1-3 sentences), send it to either Strider or I (or both) and we'll try to get it in.

In other news; the Judicial, Game Updates, Introduction, and Statistics have been done. I am not sure if Strider has done the RPG Update. Expect the paper to be today or tomorrow.
