Completion of Wonders
In the most recent turnchat, two important Middle Age wonders were built. One, Copernicus' Observatory, was built in Zojoji. Zojoji now enjoys a benefit of 100% more science commerce in that city. The other completed wonder, Smith's Trade Company, was built in Shorin-Ryu. All harbors, marketplaces, banks, and later to come, airports, now have no maintenance cost, resulting in a nice boost in our gold per turn.
Germany's Destruction
The civilization of Germany on the new continent was destroyed this last turnchat by the rampaging forces of China. Plans to build a stronghold city over on that continent on a tile surrounded by mountains were started, however, Japanese forces will be late. There were also talks of gifting a city to the Germans on our continent so that they could survive longer, but these were quickly shot down after we realized this would eliminate our monopoly on contacts and technologies on each continent.
Culture War
The Zulu city of Swazi was culture flipped to us after an increase in culture in our neighboring cities. It is located in the northern province, Kitakinu Province. It has a population of two, and is currently building a worker. There is discussion about whether we should abandon it right away, let it build a worker, or let it grow some more. A discussion thread has been started
here. However, if we keep onto it for too long, it might become in danger of flipping back, unless we get many Japanese citizens there. Even if it doesn't flip, it is a burden of corruption.
