OOC: Because for me anyway there are several factors the main one being I create characters when I choose to play a nation and I stay in character. The responses have been in character for the ruler.

Second like mentioned what like two of the world's superpowers and a third regional power all made a play for Hawaii. That makes Hawaii important. I mean why would anyone feel they need Hawaii, never mind 3 large nations all at the same time! Its a conspiracy!

Great Britain is only interested in what Germany has to say, and will address the complaints of other nations, but will not allow them to interfere in any sort of solution. We continue to request Germany's presence for peace-talks, and affirmation of their willingness to pay reparations. Germany should be aware that a failure to pay any form or amount of reparations to any party is in the eyes of Great Britain admitting to an undeclared state of war against Hawaii.

Not to even bring up the fact that the majority of the international community supports and is willing to back up our cry for reparations.

The one who has caused that mistake is facing judgement already, let his mistake disapear in peace.

Also, this great controversy of the Germanys has been discussed again and again, but the Kaisar nor his Chancellor has not spoken yet. Let them state their views of this event, and their plan.

Personally, I support small reparations, but no greedy grabs for coin. These would be to pay for the damages the fleet and the army has caused.

You must all remember that, although repulsive, they can reinstate war amonst this land, and mus'nt push them from repentive moods ready to admit mistake to anger and evny, ready to decalre war.

Germany will have to serve an agreement that all involved parties agree to. To do less would be to violate the sanctity of any sort of multinational gathering. At the very least, to recognize the arguments of other parties and reach a compromise. Germany cannot ignore Britain's, nor Mexico's, demands. That it is implied that were it not for Britain and Mexico maintaining garrisons in Hawaii, that Germany would simply have massacred the natives indiscriminately worries us even more.

As for the Ottomans, we do not mean to draw light towards any mistakes your nation may have made. The comment was directed and implied towards Italy.

Germany is not in a position to insult anyone here. Your remarks to the British government and Crown are inflammatory, and we are willing to take action to see that you never see Her Majesty's face on a coin ever again.

Germany has violated the sovereignty of two nations. It is not in Germany's position to simply "brush it away". The international community will cry for reparations, and if you aren't happy with the use of that phrase, then your neighbors want reparations. As an American separatist once said, "Don't throw rocks when you live in a glass house." And if you want to get really afraid, France will back us up on this.

The question is not who you will pay reparations to. The fact of the matter is that unless you are going to submit to the set demands, you effectively admit an intentional violation of a nation's sovereignty.

You seem to forget that Britain had soldiers stationed there as well, many of which were killed by their German counterparts. To ignore the suffering of their families is wrong in its own right. If not just to show that no hostile intentions exist to Britain.
