The German Leasing of Tsingtao
In June 1885 The German Foreign Minister Otto Von Bismarck went to China to discuss the possibility of Germany leasing a bay on The Shandong Peninsula in China, The Chief of the Kaiserliche Marine Leo von Caprivi discussed their plans for constructing a major Port City, Called Tsingtao. Caprivi stated that Tsingtao will be a model Port Colony it will include wide streets, solid houses, an advanced sewer system, a safe drinking supply of water, and will be a major Trading area for the German Empire in the Far East. The City of Tsingtao is beginning construction later this month, the German Colonial Ministry have announced major incentives for Germans moving into the City, including giving them Money and houses, to encourage German Migration to the city.

The Ottoman-German Economic Agreement
While German-Ottoman relations have always been warm, they just a little bit warmer. The Ottoman-German Economic Pact will help increase goods travelling between Germany and the Ottoman Empire by lowering Tariffs and also includes a Mutual Defense pact between Our Great Nation and The Ottoman Empire.
