Just a new civ idea

Sea Snakes!!!

Snakes vs Lizards ... epic win

Mermaids would never be in RifE. The Princess Rule!!!

Haha. :p I said "ish." Mostly I meant like top half human, bottom half something aquatic. Plenty of room to go dark fantasy with that. :D

Though I just want something pretty. :please:

Well, how about something pretty, brutal and homicidal? ;)

Just because something looks like it's Good and Pure (tm), doesn't mean that it is, or even at all close to it.

As a matter of fact both the unicorn and mermaids were originally portrait as man-eating monsters (in the original medieval mythology and Japanese mythology respectively), only much later were they "Disney-fied".

I still don't like the idea of mermaid civ, Ariel doesn't exactly have the aura of an FFH leader. ^^

Now we are going to have to get rid of the Calabim because of Twilight. Also small cute animals like hamsters are too girly so we have to get rid of Valkrionn.

Hamsters are already going.

Seriously.
Naughty hamster. :nono: (I do admit I'm trying to get my post count up. Please release 1.3 - I don't know how much more I can take. :p)

Hey Valkrionn, what with this new addition to the wiki site. Is it a new civilization that will definitely be added?
urlremoved/rife/wiki/index.php?title=Mekaran_Order

Founded it when I went through the recent additions.

It is, and will remain a module for rife, but will be included in the installer for 1.3 as an example how to do modules.
They somewhat replace the Kahdi as another arcane based civ.

And it's not a really new addition to the wiki, it's been there for a while.
Jheral just added a bunch of information a short while ago.

Funny, I cannot find where to download those modmods that are displayed on the wiki.

Mmm, and that wiki contains info that is not available in game nor seem to be true implemented.

Ok I feel somebody is hiding something... all the info in the wiki is true?

We're not exactly hiding things. We're just not advertising it. There is a bunch of information in the wiki that should give people some hints to what is in 1.3

All the info in the wiki is true, for 1.3 (or to be exact, the internal version, which is not quite 1.3) There may be some stuff that has changed in the internal version and wasn't updated on the wiki, but i guess that shouldn't have happened much, if at all.

The Mekara have been available for some time to the team and testers, the Maogata (my creation) are not available to anyone at the moment, but there will be a playable version for the team and the testers soon.

Yep, as they said, Wiki info is valid for 1.3, not 1.23. That's why we've asked that people do not modify the wiki until 1.3 has been released.

The Mekara are going to be included by default, but will stay a module as they provide a good example of how to create modules including Python files.

Looking forward to the Maogata. ;)

There is some info on the wiki.

No official information yet on the Maogata however :)

Both will be modules.

There's definitely some information about them (though a lot of the pages are still missing), so is that unofficial? And who upload unofficial information about a module that isn't even released yet?

Ah well, my bad, I thought there weren't any info! Both creators are among the team interns, that's why there's informations about their modules on the wiki.
