Glad you like the Zulu sketches, Kinboat. Maybe you can add them to the bottom of your list. And if you do decide to do them I have a copy of the original version of the pikeman for you to use as a referance.

PS. You are right about the Horseman rider being too small, as you say that can be fixed when the animator <cough> you <cough> is putting the unit together.

Here is one I was annoyed didn't come with Conquests. Not sure how you can have a War in the Pacific without Chinese Infantry.

... Actually Anubis is the guard of the passageway between this world and the afterlife, which seems like an excellent metaphor for a soldier, especially an elite "guard".

And not to spam in this thread or anything, but the earlier topic of Mexican wrestlers got me thinking of the instrumental surf band from Nashville or somewhere, Los Straitjackets who wear Mexican wrestling masks while they play and speak only in Spanish. It's great stuff. Really.

All these units look really great, Kal-El. I hope you make Chinese next, even though I accidentally voted for someone else I think. I think it'd be great for them if you did units up through Infantry also.

What I think would look really cool (as a side note) is that full Anubis model turned into an elite-type foot unit. I think that would look amazing.

well, since I haven't decided which civ to start next I thought I would make an Aztec Knight. The man's armor is metal lamelar and the horse's is quilted padding. Also his "sword" would be metal at this point rather than wood with obsidian blades.

I saw a figurine with something like that helmet, I don't know where I saw it, but it stuck in my head.

Ah... well, it looks kind of like one of the helmets that was used by European knights, and it also looks like a snake, which if you based it off of an Aztec warrior, more than likely is meant to represent Quetzalcoatl. It's a nice blending. The shape of it gives it more of that "knightly" flavor and the serpent makes it much more particularly Aztec.

Also, I'm already thinking ahead to the animations... I think a really cool Fidget or Victory could be a raising of the visor like how knights used to salute each other.

Is there anyone else but me that is working on a Flavor Mod btw? (I havn't actually noticed that anyone else is doing it, except that Dom Pedro has his Flavor Units Project, but it doesn't seem to be a mod.)
