KalNES

"This whole island will be ours" said General Valdoim
"it is our destony to take this island to rule it. there is only one empire there is only one island and there is only one nation to live on it"
"sir dont you think your being rash?" said jamous his servent
"rash rash were you here 40 years ago in this land before the empire do you even know what lies north. only heathen scum that live off the darkness and are all witches bent on human destruction" said valdoim
"no... i was not here for those years but how come such evil exsist" said jamous
"only the gods know young one now leave me alone i must rest." said valdoim

Valdoim went to rest and fell asleep his ideas of destony were vibrant in the young servents mind
"now" jamous thought to himself
"i fell like we should rule this island and not just this island all of them"

Your nation is fractured. You do not need an extended war. Will you sign a peace treaty?

~Darkening~ would know. He got annihilated by the Lengels in LINESII (though ultimately outlasted them and retook his losses).

Yeah. I saw his army size as around 14-18K, so I thought I'd be smart and go for 16,000. Turns out that he had, even after the casualties, around 32,000 troops left after he destroyed me. So yeah, I hate numbers.

How on earth did he pool those numbers?

But you can't get any more than you have ecopints to spend right?

Ooh, didnt realise that! Also did you see my diplo to Lois?

If I remember that turn correctly, here's how I did it: I managed to get professional barbarian tribes to join me due to religous reasons and cultural reasons each turn (roughly around 7,000 new troops), had around 10k barbarian (basically semi-professional, given the Lengel culture) held in reserve if I wanted to use them.

This news is terrifying...

Honestly abaddon, the stats are there just to give you some sort of guidance about the state of the nation. You can modify your society as you please behind the scenes, and said nation's strengths are not always seen in the stats. Another example is ITNES where I levied 140 thousands in one turn and thus managed to field 200 thousand man army, which completely suprised my enemy becouse they believed i could only field maybe 60 thousands.

So how does leveeing work? It is story related how you country picks up its arms, a nation in "warmode" where otherthings get put to a side.. i dont really understand.. also why cant i wiki [wiki]levee[/wiki] without getting told about dams!

The reason you can't find anything is it's actually spelled [wiki]levy[/wiki]. That takes you to [wiki]conscription[/wiki], which should tell you what you need to know.
