I'd buy the game and never even play it - just listen to the tech quotes over and over.
It's a shame his character only had about five lines in Oblivion. I was really excited to hear him in-game, and he didn't make it out of the tutorial.

Too expensive. He's a great actor, but for the money he's able to ask for due to his popularity, you can get five others that are equally good, just less popular.
I was pretty much disappointed by Nimoy, who was a good actor too, but his voice-acting in Civ4 was sub-par.
Acting? He was just reading quotes!
Though his impression of Sputnik was rather well done IMO.

Yes, "just reading some quotes" seems to have been the attitude with which he approached Civ4. I'd grant him that whoever was meant to direct him pretty much left him alone, though. It's rather obvious that he simply had no clue about some of the quotes.
I still can't believe that they actually meant him to read that.
The Civlopedia screenshot for Total War didn't show one, so I doubt it.
I'm happy to see that wonders now have quotes; hopefully they're also voice acted along with tech quotes.
Captain Anderson from Mass Effect, the "The Few, The Proud, The Marines" guy, Call of Duty voices, history channel voice dubs and a pretty solid acting career.
Can anyone confirm this? Would love to hear his smooth bartone voice caressing my ears every time I discovered a tech. Would be alot better than ol Nemoy's screeches.
