That is one way to put it. I would say they are the Celts and we are the Franks. Occupying the same part of the world (of CFC), but one group is largely gone to other places and is much older.

A really old Celt who has integrated into Frankish culture. Same goes for TD, Trexeric, Constantinople, and the few others who have been here through the flight.

We always accept new participants! I remember when I made my first story, my fan fic thing, and everyone was so friendly despite me being a noob writer about civ. I am by no means a pro now but I am alot better and still learning. One day i will rule the world write the best story every with my future writing skills.

I have several ideas in terms of story making, I'll probably go DOC for a couple of them, as I quite like what Tenebaum, Moai, and Constantinople have done with RFC and the like.

But I also had another idea: Using LOR to construct a world in which a hyper advanced civilisation exists unbeknownst to the undeveloped people of the world in a massive mega city. This city is secluded from the rest of the world and acts as a sort of Atlantis, except with full technology. It would be told from the point of view of the undeveloped civilization coming into existence.

I'm kind of curious, but how the heckie deckie do I diddly darn install DoC? I mean I have no idea how to download it and actually get it to work, I've never successfully downloaded a mod and ran it so that it didn't crash every single time I opened it.

Get a .rar file opener online, unzip it into your downloads. Then, just drag it to your BTS mod folder and you're good to go.

You think your terrible at it. The first time I installed a mod manually, I messed up the whole game and installation procedure. The game is stuck on my programs list as I deleted its folder after I messed the game up and it wouldn't uninstall.

I've just tried that and my game crashes when I actually try to play a game.

That happened to me. Is your game updated to 3.19? If it says it is it might still not be so update it regardless. Download link

Yes, it is updated to 3.19, I found out about that issue when I first got into multiplayer and I know for sure it is updated to 3.19.

What about even re-installing civ? If you either do not want to do that or did and it doesn't work, go to the technical help forum.

Consult the DoC forum for bug fixes (It's a sticky) and consult Leoreth.
