Kingdom Come: Deception (Game Thread)

I don't find you questioning my claim as scummy, because it's reasonable to question everything in a game about reading players and their motivations. You went about it subtly and indirectly, as if to gauge how interested the other players were before you committed. I find that to be scummy. Had you gone about it directly then I would not have had a problem with it.
Subtlety is my blessing and my curse. It was far fetched enough that I kinda wanted to gauge whether you started defending yourself before I really spelled it out. I might be a little too accustomed to the privileges that being everyone's number one town read provide.

It's quiet out here.

Time for my reads:

Topsecret - Lord of Rattay, Town Tiebreaker

Pzelda - Townie tone and outlook
Csargo - Claims town doctor; I'm not inclined to doubt him at the moment.

JohannaK - Jo's outlook seems town to me. Not sure for in the long run, but not on my top list to lynch.

GamezRule - Claims pompous noble with ability to read and write. Just not sure which side said noble is on. :hmm:
Timsup2nothin - Tim has given me mixed signals most of the game. I want to believe he's town. But we'll see. I'm still suspicious and I would vote for him.
Takhisis - Tak claimed one-shot watcher/tracker. He's been quieter than I am used to from townie Tak. :bump:

Golden1Knight - G1K is in a category of his own. I'm with Csargo on the idea that if MJ flips wolf, that clears things up for G1K somewhat.

MarcherJovian - I've listed my reasons before, and MJ doesn't seem to want to avoid the lynch bad enough. It's going to be hard to convince me to switch.

Need to get the tie reanalyzed.

Blue is my town assumptions, Red is my wolf assumptions, Green is what I know. Bold is stronger.

LordArgon (4): Takhisis, Samson, Pzelda, Timsup2nothin
MarcherJovian (4): Golden1Knight, JohannaK, GamezRule, LordArgon
Golden1Knight (1): Topsecret
Timsup2nothin (1): Csargo

Abstain (1) - Marcher

So my possiblities are (Marcher, Tim, Tak, G1K, Gamez). Could be Jo, too.

Need more voting patterns. Back to find my post from yesterday.

@Timsup2nothin what's your POE? Who do you kill and in what order?

As for why the mafia didn't switch, they probably just decided to believe me. I don't think that means none of them were up or not, but they couldn't afford to switch because they knew they'd suffer the wrath of the town.

Super useful: Link to Rask's Tally Post

My list from before upgraded with more knowledge.

Takeaways:
Tim and Tak never vote together in the above tallies except both on Argon vs. MJ.
MJ and Tim have been voting together in most of the tallies.
Tim was pretty much committed to lynching Tak over Rakkoon D1 (first two tallies of post #1747, the large quoted tallies above)

If someone else notices something, please let me know.

I wanna kill G1K. Today.

If G1K flips town I suspect it really won't matter what I want after that. If he flips red I would be looking at Jo next.
OK. My current POE
MJ -> G1K (if Marcher Town)
MJ -> [Tim/Tak/?Possible Jo] (if Marcher Wolf)

I don't know which I prefer if MJ's a wolf.

Let's say MJ flips wolf. Who's next?

Also whoever's out here assuming that I am partners with MJ needs to rethink. I was going to lynch him yesterday, but I was too indecisive. Not this time.

MJ + ??? +???
GK + GR + ???

Tim or Tak is definitely in the top. I'm not sure about the bottom.

Probably. I feel like they both could fit in the top.

You were scum with Tims and pzelda in Franklin, so can you give me a rundown on similarities/differences from that game to this one @topsecret .

Pzelda doesn't seem similar at all. In that game, he was tenuous and felt like he was struggling to fit in. We made it but barely. Zelda in this game is solving, has a much better tone, and he's calling out people on things. Feels different.

Tim... is an enigma. Uncertainty is the one thing that he did not show as a wolf because he didn't have any. Our strategy was to nail whoever we wanted to the wall, and we did it. Here, he feels more uncertain, but I wouldn't put anything past him (This is a compliment @Timsup2nothin. :D) He's self-aware on these things, so I am confident he could fake some uncertainty, such as pulling back from a lynch he really wants. I've also seen similarities in pushing suspects and his thought process. I just don't know.

Maybe we read Tim's town game in Mario? But that's a lot of posts. I might go back to Cold War too, but we will see.

I'm not against lynching him, but MJ or G1K goes first in my mind.

Spoiler alert: G1K flips town

Yet, looking at my game now I can see the wolfness of it. Lets hope MJ flips red so I can get back at town's good graces, or else it’s my own coffin that’s going to be nailed.

It's a lifestyle.

This might be the most suspect thing you have said. Yes Pzelda is entirely different this game...he's available. Our game, based on Pzelda as wolf in...the game before Cold War? is the anomaly. Not that I think he's wolfing here, but this "tenuous and struggling to fit in" is not how I would describe him in our game at all. He was scumread and didn't have the availability to fend it off completely, but that was purely based on bot having time. Pzelda can wolf, hard, and even though I don't think he is here our game together doesn't contribute anything to that read.

Unfortunately, other than my day one revolution against myself in this game you are going to find that Mario, this game, and Franklin all read much the same. That's how Franklin worked.

My read on Marcher is that his willingness to be flipped was pure town best interest, mixed with a degree of disgust that a bunch of players who were new to him took so long about lynching Argon...though I have come to appreciate Argon's play a lot more than I did (tell you why later and don't ask please).

Crazy theory time. Marcher is not resisting the lynch because the other wolves are voting for him. It's coordinated to reduce suspicion.

Due to life constraints, I have not posted a tally this evening. There won't be one until Weds morning.

I feel like you're only repeating Jo, who has Jovian and you paired.

It's good to see your point of view and it's a difficult one to push here. Why do you think he would be disgusted there? It didn't take longer than any other game day.

Not so crazy, but you can't really assume it because paranoia would petrify you.

No probs, I don't think there were any new votes.

If I push G1K and get him lynched, and he flips town I'm the next lynch in every world I can imagine. I too will flip town, which is unfortunate, but that's how I see it.

Marcher being disgusted had nothing to do with the length of that day. A day is a day. But we talked about "Argon's just Argon and the only way to solve him is lynch him" EVERY day, and I'm kinda surprised we aren't having that conversation today, tbh.

I have a lot of wacky theories about this game but I'm not confident about anything except my current vote and I'm not sure I'll have a chance to really spend some time fleshing out my ideas before the buzzer tomorrow.
