Now that we know all the virtues and bonus, and also taking FI unique ability in consideration, how many virtues you think are unlockable in a normal game (Prince) ?
I would thinking about 20 to 30 on optimal conditions, do you think its doable ?

Interesting, considering we had 3 speeds on civ, a really long game prob means that on a normal speed game we will be around 20 to 30 virtues in fact.
Thinking about it, FI ability is one free tech at begining, middle and end game, something to consider
Which means probably ~30 if you are rushing to win (~20 if you are rushing to win and not focusing on culture)
~45 if you are playing a long game ~50 if you are playing a long AND culture heavy game
If you play FI right you can get even more, e.g., if you take Tier I width bonus, you get 2 techs, then maximize Knowledge for another 2, this takes 25 virtues and if youre lucky, you can get another 5 and get the last one free tech. However this is a little bit limiting you to spend too much time in tier one, so it seems to me not optimal.

I don't think they dictate a playstyle, you can also play FI as science oriented nation, with the help of culture wonders, you can even try to go wide with her and get culture from buildings, so it has no fixed playstyle, it's just better in one than the other. And it can be said about every faction in the game.
Sorry for the delay. This is added now, but as with the other highlighting, only for Chrome and Opera. Will work on compatibility with Firefox and IE...

Fantastic job on those virtues, and looking forward to new stuff.
After launch, probably the most needed overview is that of promotions. In civ5, there wasn't any good overview of the promotion paths per unit type. I wasn't sure whether certain promotions were unlocked after Drill/Shock I, II or III. So I made my own, for example:
But who knows, maybe the civilopedia is more useful this time around.
in BE there is only one promotion (+10% strength) and the instant heal. Not much of a tree there. Then there are the affinity upgrades oof the units, but those are only binary decisions.
Sorry for the slight thread necro. Does "upgrade" refer to Affinity level? For example, Marines would receive +10%, Brawler/Sentinel/Disciple get a total of +20%, and Marauder/Centurion/Apostle have +30%? Or is that incorrect?

That would have to be it (that is referred to in the game as an upgrade)... and the "promotions" are only gained by experience..so not influencing new troops
I've updated the Virtues Screen to include known changes to the Virtues. Thanks again to Kevin Shultz at Firaxis for the info. (Some/all of it is also available from Maddjinn's playthrough I think?)
The Knowledge tree has been slightly weakened, and now there's a new path into Tier 3 Might.
(I think Knowledge needs a boost in early game to offset the weakening of the later bonuses, and to make it a viable starter tree in more situations.)
