A lot of players would test out such a claim. In fact, such a claim is pretty much begging to be tested.

It may be, but you focused on the fact it was a one time scan. A normal scanner has a lot to lose posting publicly, it may have been better to reveal in private to a go between, or indeed to try to lead the lynch without revealing the scan first.

IF I had more uses of my ability, I would scan people as long as I found someone innocent, and then share all my knowledge with him. I am not that bad player to do such thing if I was a policeman
