DAY EIGHT​

Takhisis played for a long while, then took a short, refreshing nap. He awoke shortly afterwards when his mother burst into the basement complaining loudly about how he had been sleeping for almost 24 hours and would he please just take out the garbage. He sighed, took out the garbage and checked on what had happened. It transpired that Dumanios and some pizza delivery fellow had been cornered by the crowd and then the people were deciding which to carve up and hopefully expose as a scummioso.

To be fair, Dumanios had a somewhat suspicious claim and made absolutely zero effort to defend himself.

If you're going to lynch me on detective results that are inconclusive, then go ahead and bleepin' do it. Don't, don't try to justify your vote by suggesting that by voting to save myself, I am now scum.

Here, let me give you some real reasons. Since you can't seem to fight without someone else telling you exactly what to do. I will tell you, weaklings. You who cannot tell for yourself who is an enemy, and who is a friend, without suckling at the teat of the goatling Jedi.

And I admit it here. This game is very specific, so much is going behind scenes, and so much players have some kind of scanning/tracking abilities...

Too much going on behind the scenes. A group of a few people decide who dies, others follow. Game relies on their competence, and not yours. That's not a true test of yourself.

You don't need guidance. In time you will learn to trust your feelings; then you will be invincible.

I vote based on if I think someone is lying or not. And sometimes, I'm wrong. But then, it's like there's a challenge involved.

Let me ask you a question, citizens of this great Republic. Imagine for a moment you're Sith. Oh, there are those who say it's a lifestyle choice; others still insist you're born that way. It's unavoidable, it is your destiny, and so on. Now imagine that you face off against groups of trackers, watchers, darkside scanners, and you watch as groups of your would-be friends and business associates fall under the tyranny of the few unelected, self-appointed watchmen of the galaxy, who in their infinite wisdom, decide that throwing people to their deaths simply for not being Jedi is reason enough. And you see that, well, as long as they're dark side, that's good enough. You see, if you're not Jedi, you're expendable. You're just in the way of their vision; a world where everyone is like them; stuffy, humorless, and ever so pretentious. Poverty and chastity and... non-violence. Euuuggghh!!

We need a new Chancellor, one who will oppose the unelected Jedi, and give us justice.

I vow, that if you follow me, you'll never have to lynch someone based on a "detective result" again. And that's coming from a dude who has detective scans. Actually useful ones, too, might I add, as opposed to this darkside rubbish. You saw how accurate that was. I bet half of you are darkside. You're unlucky enough to not be the cool kids with the fancy green sabers. To them, you're garbage. But to me, you're my kind of scum. Bold and inventive. Unrestricted by simplistic moralistic viewpoints and laws. Laws just get in the way of you doing what you know to be morally correct. Like wiping out Mandalorian scum, who attacked unarmed people. THEY DESERVED TO DIE, and the idiot Jedi just sat back and watched. Watched me kill them. It needed to be done. The Republic knew it to be true. And I defended the Republic. And I brought the true enemies of the Republic to justice.

And I did it without sitting on my council chair and waxing philosophical about how the force will bring everything back into balance on its own, and there's no need to get involved when brutal homicidal maniacs massacre people by the billions. This isn't philosophy class, there's people's lives at stake. The entire future is at stake. The galaxy needs true heroes. You can follow the simplistic boring Jedi way, or you can grow a pair of blasters and embrace the dark side. It's the only way to actually save the Republic. You think I want to destroy the Republic? I'm the only one who ever gave a flying battle droid about it, the only one to actually lift a finger to defend it. What have the Jedi actually done? They would have you all die, so long as their vision of the galaxy prevails. Don't get involved. Let innocents suffer.

The only Jedi that were ever worth their salt got involved. They risked "falling" to the Dark Side to save their friends, those who they cared about. Instead, the Jedi seek to avoid attachment. Attachment, mind you, to fellow sentient life. Isn't that actually disgusting to you? Watch how callously they toss people to their deaths. Well, you've got a choice. You can follow them obediently, and say "yes master Jedi" when it's time for you to die, or you can execute order 66.

Do the right thing. Throw the Jedi and their lousy detective roles into the dustbin of galactic history. If you don't want to get involved, if you just want to cower in your beds until they come for you, then fine. Allow me the pleasure. I didn't gain possession of the Star Forge because it's pretty and shiny and sparkles like a diamond. I did it to build an unstoppable fleet of mechanized death which will transform the very nature of the galaxy, from one that belongs to them, to one that belongs to us. Witness their feeble attempts to destroy me, and then witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational battle station. You choose.

I can keep posting in Palatino Linotype, and pretending I'm a Sith Lord, or maybe we can just drop the act and kill some scumbags. Is all this roleplaying because it's fun for me, or because I'm being serious? Do you know? Do you care? Can you figure it out with your head, or do you need to ask for help?

Help me, cabal of power roles, you're my only hope.

PS- I never actually played Kotor I and I've only got a passing understanding of Darth Revan. I imagine this is sort of how he'd talk.

Wouldn't it be sweet if I was actually Revan? That would be balls to the wall awesome.

Me too. I just analyze also pms from few people, look for inconsitencies in them, etc. Then, after determining who is lying (in my opinion at least) and who is not, I make decision.
