Larger mods not uploading to GameSpy? Examples?

So, I've read in various places that I now can't find that larger mods won't upload to GameSpy, apparently giving the mysterious "invalid id -1" sort of error (paraphrasing). I'm sure I've read of people explaining hosting a mod only here and not on the ModHub for this reason. What I want to know is, is this the experience of people here, and can anyone point to a specific mod (including, preferably, the downloadable file) that is suffering that problem?

Just to clarify, not doubting it's a problem, but wanting to a) verify that my memories are not the result of insanity or something, and b) make a more useful bug report to 2K/Firaxis about it.

I had that problem with R.E.D. a few month ago, the "invalid id -1" multiple times, so I've stopped using the in game browser, but I retried one or two weeks ago and this time I had no problem to upload it. Just tried with YnAEMP after reading your post and it works too.

But those are not really "big" mods (3 and 4mb I think).

Is it possible we have a rumoured cause for the error, but it's actually semi-random, and people are assuming they can't upload when they can?

I had seen that in my investigations. One person who claimed to have had the problem has (in this thread) said they don't seem to any more. Otherwise, people haven't mentioned what mod they are having the problem with. I've posted there as well, however.

I had the exact same thing with my mod/scenario, and mine I think was even smaller (Your latest version is ~4mb, I downloaded it again today)

Do you have a current version that definitely doesn't upload? I think the Firaxis mod guy might be better able to figure out what's going on with files that verifiably aren't uploading.

It didn't work, now it does; it didn't work like a month ago, then it started randomly working (I tried again for kicks) again last week

No matter what I try to upload, Modbuddy always crashes, even for an 8 kb mod. That's why I came here.

This thread is related, might be worth taking a short look at it.

As I wrote elsewhere, I noticed a regular gap of 100 seconds from the istant I "confirm" the upload (i.e. after answering and compiling all modbuddy requests) to the istant I receice the "Invalid ID" message. It seems a kind of expiring timeout.
I was able to upload v.1 of AMC mod (still on gamespy DB); after that I received "Invalid ID" error for every subsequent attempt (from v.2 to v.9)
