Late Neolithic wooden well excavated

Though to post this because the subject and the pictures seemed both impressive. A well which is some 7000 years old was excavated in Germany recently. The wooden structure was worked without metal tools!

One has to wonder how much more humans were already building thousands of years before recorded history began, that we do not know about because all evidence perished.
