I played your 2.4 evolution of the mod and was most impressed. although i had several crashes I managed to play until the early industrial age, at which time I couldn't get a menu for the early armour (us ft17 i think). Despite this i was particularly impressed with the idea of doctrines and the staking bonuses which i felt were particularly well done. i cant wait for the bts version.

the most cool thing in this mod i liked is practically each unit of it's own , not only a color pircture but it's own bonuses and disadvantages . No mod of existance (ww2 1939 only ) for civ 4 can make such a diversity of units for country, with savegamecore .dll no errors starting form the begining till end era patch 213/

to my mind each nation is cool and worth playing ! 100%
we r awaiting bts quicker version to play full scale Total war , as no secret warlords can not run huge (earth) maps even on fastest dual /quad PC platforms .
Bts full scale Cold war scenrarios would be awasome if made ! as no one did it on civ 4 properly (take a look on civ 3 fifties mod deluxe )
T -10 , T 62 , T 72 eaah! Y know what i am talking about )))))))
 
Is this BTS compartable? If not, why not and when will it be?
 
Honest as it might be, you are not going to atract that many people with that sort of atitude.
 
If a person is asking this, he:

1) Is not going to play the mod in its current state
2) Didn't bother to read around (as this question gets asked several times a day)

Also, the wording of the question is in a demanding tone - especially the "why" part (I frankly don't even know how to answer that), and that is coming from a person who isn't even using our mod in its current state. Therefore, I was a tad aggravated.

And lastly, we aren't seeking to attract any people - we're not trying to sell anything, we make the mod for our own enjoyment and just share it with those who like it. That's basically it - we don't seek any "publicity", most stuff here is just some basic infrastructure for player feedback.

So, sorry if I offended you, but the answer stands. :)

Just wanted an update, on the net, answers as much as 15 minutes old can not be taken into account as reliable.

Sorry about that, I was not planing on making it sound demanding. I just wanted to know if the isue is that you are still working on making the mod work properly before switching to BTS, if you have not coem around to it, if it's so much work, if you just plain hate BTS (seen it on other mods in diferent games so have to take it as an option) or something completely unrelated.

Now that that is cleared up, the only thing left is to subscribe to this thread and wait and see.
 
I was downloaded this cool mod and ran the install file but it keeps crashing when it gets near the end. I think it is corrupted.:cry: Btw how much has been converted to bts?:groucho:

Very approximately, it might take some time. ;)

I can guarantee, though, that it will definitely NOT come out tomorrow.

I frankly don't understand that; why would we even want to set ourselves a release date? It's not as if we have a deadline to meet...
