Launch Failure -- Need Help Plz!!

Running Civ4 from disc on Windows 10 laptop PC -- all systems go and doing well.

Stupid Windows upgrade has caused game to stop in launch phase.

I have uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled. Patch 3.19 installed.

When I click on "PLAY" icon from small menu {PLAY -- READ ME -- EXIT} the menu disappears and then nothing happens.

I have been playing Civ 4 only a couple weeks and was just getting the hang of it (I think) when this happened.

Please Someone Help Me!!!

You don't need a disc to play Civ4 Beyond the Sword 3.19. Have you tried launching it without the disc?

Thanks IMP but I uninstalled and reinstalled AGAIN and it worked. Not sure what the deal was but ... Oh well it works LOL
