The tech slingshot is a really solid strat for them, and the longer orbital time is a solid trait all on its own, I agree they're powerful.

Brasilia is the weakest because you're always unhealthy making their benefit void.

Do you mean Jamma Barre? I don't think the brasilia trait is based on health. As for Jamma Barre, his trait can be leveraged really well if you focus on your health and growth. Go heavily into prosperity and you'll have an addition 2-4 population in every one of your cities (vs your opponents). That's a lot of extra production, energy, and science.

Who stay healthy early/mid game not I. Staying healthy for the bonus hurt the use of PAU a lot.
KP enables me to make city 6 spaces apart without worrying having to buy tiles to get that 3 tile titanium. KP works extremely well with knowledge/prosperity.

I hope I did it right. Elodie is by far my favourite character because she seems to be the most elaborate one if you compare their diplomacy quotes. I really hate Hutama because he always declares war on me. Always. And he is always my neighbour. And he was in a war for over 100 turns with me accomplishing nothing than annoying me

I really hate Elodie, always denouncing me whenever I kill a few aliens that are harassing my borders or trade routes. What's more annoying is that she usually spawns on the opposite side of the map so there should be no way in hell that she could tell as to what I am doing.

edit: the more that I think about it, Bolivar is very timid, and his UA isn't that useful (even when I played as him I barely noticed a difference). Switched to Kozlov because I have a Russia bias, his UA is great for tech slingshot, and seeing my Apostle conscript hordes dying for the motherland is always awesome.

Actually KP and all other AIs are equally nice ... Unless you start right next to them. Even KP will attack you, and actually they are the most likely to attack you over contested borders because their AI is heavily biased on expansion.
