What's frustrating about situations like this is that we are telling you what is going on, and rather than take it at face value you continue to complain about it. All you have to do is unpack the damn art file and you'll have it. Stop trying to figure out cute ways of doing it, this is the best way. Kublai and Qin were switched "at birth" so the files are crossed up, just unpack the damn file and you'll have it.

No...what's frustrating about this is you-all are telling me what's going on in ways that either don't make sense to me or conflict with the data I have at hand - which, incidentally, seems to conflict with itself in the first place. Regardless, I got the confusion sorted out, though ironically it was while the art was unpacking, so that actually didn't have much if anything to do with it! I also have a suspicion as to what might have caused it; if a certain type of bug gets reported with NwT .95...

Edit: Btw, "ways that don't make sense" isn't intended as a blamethrower; it's a well-established fact that the way my head works is noticeably askew from the norm, resulting in my being unable to comprehend certain types of explanations. I think this is more likely a case of problems with data, though...

Yeah sorry, I can be a bit blunt at times. I learned this stuff on my own so now I realize how annoying it is to modders when people basically don't appear to want to do anything for themselves, that's all. Glad to see everything is working out though.

I've thought about New World Civilizations getting the short end of the stick, and since people want more female LHs, well, I think this would be a good idea. Who do you think we could turn into:

If you want a female Native American LH I think Sacajawea is a better choice. She was the female leader of the Sioux in Civ 2.

We have Arnold, Muir, and even a few other simple reskins for Californian leaders. Would anyone be willing to work on leaderheads for Sam Houston

and Stephen F. Austin

to be Texan leaders? I have seen a button or two posted for Sam Houston and a brief discussion about Austin, which may mean that someone has done his leaderhead before, but they don't seem to be posted anywhere on the site. Right now, I have Dubya and the Jack Ryan leaderhead working for Rick Perry, but since I am not a fan of either of these two most recent governors, I would prefer a leaderhead or two that all Texans revere. I would love to make them myself, but I am finding the learning curve a bit steeper than I anticipated. Kudos to those of you who do great work on these. I am thinking a reskin of Bismarck blended with some attributes of John Adams for Houston and a reskin of Justinian with attributes from Stuyvesant. Any takers?

And I wouldn't mind having an LBJ if anyone has ever made him for a Vietnam mod. If you know of one and can point me in that direction, I could use him too.

Since we recently got a better Ashurbanipal, I think we should start looking at which Civ Gold leaders need improvement.

For example, we got PW Botha of South Africa.

I'm thinking Cyrus as a base... make him bald and give him some glasses.

The Lapu-Lapu in Civ Gold can be the base. I think if we give him long hair and make it bare-chested we're good to go.

I would like to request an all around better looking Theodore Roosevelt. Like Cybah said his clothes are the same as curchill, but I think the whole model looks way to much like Churchill.

That's because Teddy'd LH dates from the last days of the retextures. It was pretty radical at the time for him to have his own glasses. Understand that making the umpteenth American leader tends to be low on most of our modders' priority lists, even if he is somebody as fascinating as Teddy.
