Leaderhead Database and Request thread

This would be cool... I agree.
I can add it to the Kingdom of Jerusalem civ I created as well!

Capo, you da man, man!

Oh... well in that case maybe someone else can make it haha

Thanks Kochman! :goodjob:

If you need it quickly that's fine, but I'll probably be relatively unlikely to make another one if someone else does.

No, no, no... I'm not saying that you have to make the leaderhead soon... I'm just saying that if you're too busy, maybe I can find someone else... I'm not forcing you to make it now or anything. :p

Actually the mask Baldwin wears was supposedly invented by William Monahan for The Kingdom of Heaven. I don't know how historically accurate this leader would be if he wore a mask.

I know, but isn't Civ IV not 100% historically accurate? :p

Plus, I don't know how else you would display King Baldwin IV without a mask... it just takes away creativity when you make him a normal person. :D

Roman officers offen wear masks. Why should just we know this?
Not only in the byzantine Venice this tradition survive. So if he really had this disease, it could be.

While there may be no evidence he wore a mask, is there evidence he didn't? And if he did in fact have this disease would it not make sense that he would at least wear a mask to talk with foreign dignitaries (i.e., to YOU in the diplomacy screen)?

If the answer to those questions is "no," let me ask this one; wouldn't it be a cool LH? I think the best part would be to get the metallic effect on the mask.

I'm working on a mod and am in need of a few female leaderheads. I'm starting to go through the leaderhead tutorial, but I know how talented this community is and thought it wouldn't hurt to ask for help. The first one I'm looking for is a female Spartan to play the part of Cynisca:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cynisca

I'm thinking any of the current female leaders, such as Catherine or Isabela, with Pericles helmet and garb. Ideally, she wouldn't take the helmet off, which would hopefully minimize any changes needed to the female's features.

Make sure you use C. Roland's though, mine doesn't really look very Greek, also its better to cover up his Dido's face than my Dido's face.

O yes, by the way The Capo, since no one else can make Baldwin IV, I have no problem with you taking 2 months to make him, only if you are still willing to. I can wait as long as I need. :)

I will obviously try to shoot for quicker than that, it was just a conservative estimate. I am still working on my mod after all. And I keep running into issues with python. I already have a generally good concept for him, and to be honest, was already thinking about making him for my Crusades Module pack.

im workin on a mod called modern europe. there r 41 civs so i wont ask 4 leaderheads 4 all of them, but if u could create some of the main ones like britain, ireland, germany, spain etc. i would be very grateful. if thats too much 2 ask then i would particularly like gordon brown

thx in advance

At the moment, there is only one leaderhead that I need, and that is K'alyaan. K'alyaan was a War Chief of the Tlingit Tribe who fought the Russians at the battle of Sitka. Almost nothing is known about him except that he wore a Raven helmet. I have no basing reccomendations.

Wikipedia on the Battle of Sitka.

Ka'alyaan's Raven War helmet picture here

Can we get these two images to replaces the several that you placed in the opening post (I use those pix sometimes its a pain to scroll and compare ;) )
