My understanding of Japan's sengoku period is that it was a bloody time, with bloody men on every side of things. As far as I know, no part of Japan escaped violence during this period. What I want to know, is which one maintained the highest(or at least, closest to modern) moral standards. Perhaps some fellow civvers with more knowledge on the topic can enlighten me.
