Left 4 Dead

I feel I'm more useful with the shotgun, and I'm pretty good at managing my shots, it's just that I have to learn to master my twitch reflex a bit better, hehe.
Agreed. Most of the time, im always the shotgunner (Mainly due to being prepared for witches, taking point, and clearing the area). Right now I am improving my rate of reducing my friendly fire. I am of course aiming to get that safety first achievement.

Sometimes it's bad timing and/or luck when a friendly fire does occur. Expert is realy nasty with friendly fire punishments. The only cases where I see that it is nessciary is if a guy startles a witch on expert. Incaping him before she strikes him with a one kill swipe.

Subi tends to run in front of everyone.

I'm working on firing a shotgun aronud people to keep zombies off them but I don't recommend people try it. Shotgunners should go in the front with two people with the M16s in the back.

It because you guys aren't fast enough :p

I'm trying t ostick together with my team while still in the middle to front. Unless it's versus (and even then you need to stick together) you don't need to run as fast as you can.

It's possible and not too hard to shave zombies off a swarmed team mate with the shotgun. It becomes harder if they're not quite completely swarmed and can sort of freely move, then it's dangerous, hehe. Nah, most of my friendly fire is when a team mate suddenly appears from a shaded area, very close in my field of view, just as I am being twitchy because of a sudden onslaught of zombies I was already fending off.

I think it's tempting for some people to run around too much when they're getting attacked by just a couple of zombies. The result is that you can't help them much without risking to hurt them, and in the process they're even often blocking your line of sight towards the incoming zombies.

I try to limit my own "spook factor" by not approaching or backing up into some guy frantically shooting a bunch of zombies stuck on him.

But yeah, usually it's something like "oh a hunter is trying to pounce me" *back up in someone's close field of view* "Ow! Do I look like one of them!"

I want to have the other group within my eyesight while taking point (Often means taking point, crouching and picking off any any infected in the area all while keeping my other team mates behind me in the corner of my eye). Not running off like Paul Revere :p.

Gah! Sung, AllDay, Shadowknight, and myself were playing an Expert campaign on Dead Air, and we had reached the end of the Construction Site but all of us had insanely low health. We managed to get through a witch at the very end but of course right before he gets to the door Sung, who's in front, runs straight into a boomer and instead of pushing and then shooting, he just shoots instantly, covers us all in boomer puke, and calls in a horde that kills us all.

Sung is evil. If you look way back in the TF2 pics on cnb forum I made a thread title something along the lines of 'proof that sbzsung is evil'.
, he also took about every opportunity possible to run in front of our bullets. He got incapped a ridiculous amount of times one game...:cringe:

Huh. He was an awesome good TF2 player when I started playing on CnB, one of the best on the server. He especially played heavy and soldier.
There's no FF in TF2. :p He's a great player, but he kinda screwed some stuff up today. :dunno:

Eh, everyone has bad days, I know I do, and then the next day I'll be kicking serious ass. It annoys the living hell out of me.
I had that same feeling when I had bad luck with witches when I first started, now I am able to give em the old buckshot without startling them.

tonights game with me, dachs, pitvipr and house was pretty much epic

second tank on expert was practically vs me, and after a very tense battle, i managed to get to the docks and the boats and so finish that campaign in expert. Man, I was shaking.

This game makes me way too excited too sometimes. The other day I was in a versus game with you I think and CnB people, it ended like 3280 - 3211 or some retardedly close number like that. I was the last survivor at the end on my side, finished the tank, tried to run to the helipad in No Mercy, and got pulled by a last smoker, nooooo. We would have won otherwise because our side had done a successful roof ambush ;)

EDIT: The pull wouldn't have worked if I hadn't changed to shotgun for the Tank fight... So I had the shotgun and was shooting at the relatively close smoker but it just didn't register enough damage at this medium distance...

I recall playing a verses game with Dachs and some CnBers one night. For some luck in the cards at the end of Blood Harvest, I became the tank and achived All 4 Dead. All I remember off the top of my head were smashing and incaping survivors, as well as picking off survivors in the process of reviving their incapped comrade.

I remember that, I think. It was one of the more exciting games.
