Thats the question thats on my head to. I think we should organise some sort of CFC L4D play one weekend night in the Steam Group Forum .

Versus match this past night: me, Rogoth, SAXsamus, and BigFrank against CivG, Hammurabi, Dr. House, and kirbysamus (who replaced PrinceScamp, who I guess ragequit after the first two matches because of utter pwnage). Here's a screen from the Subway, after both teams had been eviscerated by zombies:

What pwnage? I survived the first one. I went off to play TF2 as netshark started raving about what was going on, got stuck with a 10 minute update, missed all the action, and then went to EUIII.

Just don't pull any witches out of the cubicals . If there's a witch in the area, I'll be more than happy to Cr0wn her with old Super 90 .

I remember the night that I got ambushed while trying to pick off a witch. Apparently the infected had other plans and reeled me towards her. It was also the night I reeled in a survivor and smacked it till his health was in the red. That's a L4D Fishing story I'll never forget.

I also snapped a really odd picture after a survivor killed me and had me flying off the roof. All I can say I was floating in mid air by the leg .

Whats the closest you guys ahve gotten to surviving but still getting killed? I just bought the farm on the blood farm level right on the ramp. Got pounced while laying down cover fire for the two straglers then got mauled to death

Death Toll finale. We had called the boat, had fought it out to the end but a persistent tank scattered the group. Everyone else was killed, but I managed to make it to the dock as the boat pulled up. I was literally one step away from freedom when a smoker grabbed me from behind

That happened to me in verses in No Mercy. Snatched out of the helicopter by a smoker.

Reaching the last safehouse before the finale and a tank jumping off the top of the building right in front of me.

Can't remember the campaign, might have been Death Toll, maybe the third level. Anyway, it was public game, and we were in bad shape - a good share of bad luck and various mishaps had reduced our party to one lone survivor, in red health. Heroically, with the rest of the group looking on, he battled his way through the remaining part of the level (quite some way), and reached the safehouse. It was a miracle! Except it wasn't. He opened the saferoom door, but behind him THERE WAS A HUNTER OUT OF NOWHERE and it pounced. He died about one foot outside the saferoom entrance. Needless to say, it was hilarious.

Definitely. I often see phillipe and others online, but usually they're locked in a filled, friends only game.

Is there any easy way to PM someone in steam when they're in game?

Yes, click their name in your friends list (or in a group list which is also on the same menu as friends) and maybe double click and chat to them like normal.

Holy God, my roommate and his friend keep me up every night until six playing this game.

My friend and co-worker (Rasputin) recently got the game and this was his first time playing it, so we started no Expert and stayed on expert until several tries into the final map >_< Then tried advanced, lost, normal and won - except we changed it to expert at the last minute and were rushed by a MASSIVE horde. I died

Might have been better if I hadn't lead the streak of TKs with 36 FF incidents (SORRY!) Rasputin's computer also crashed 3 times so his score should be higher than it is.
