IMFSANHO, you people should relax and see that your ankles go out of the way of the metal.
:mischief:

OMG I've been offline for 10 hours and two pages pops up... What are we discussing now?

This is the "Let's discuss Poland" thread... so apparently, anything BUT Poland is fair game!!

Bunch of non-conformists here! ;)

OMG I've been offline for 10 hours and two pages pops up... What are we discussing now?

let's see:
-Poles were Huns, prove that they weren't!
-Poles were not Huns, you prove that they were!
-Poles were Huns and I fart in your general direction!
-Poles were not Huns and your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberry!
-Poles were Huns, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

:mischief:

And this will also be interesting... Go to the OT page soon, and click the Flame Warrior thread... :mischief:

Just to add some comments to the last ones.

"On ongur" is a turkish word, it seems that it's because the turkish tribes near proto-Magyars called them like that so they kept this name in Europe :crazyeye:

This thread is so psychotic.

ROFLMAO I can't believe ppl are discussing such thing as the % of etruscan or roman blood into Italian DNA, or wether or not Etruscans have been annihilated by Romans. I mean, Roman historical books are one of our main sources about Ancient and Classic History, how can you even be in doubt about the fate of the Etruscan people ? Etruscans have CERTAINLY not been annihilated by Romans and a great deal of their culture has been absorbed by the emerging roman one, and retained after Rome occupied Etruria. I hope you are aware that almost all of the 7 Kings of Rome were Etruscans. Great shame has to be put on the Dark and Middle Ages for being responsible of the loss of the book "On Etruscans" written by I don't remember which roman author. With that book in our hands we would know much more about Etruscans now.

That's why I give up after: Poles are Huns. Hungarians are not. All this discussion is one big stinky OT with "it's irrelevant", "I don't care" all over it and It was stupid of me to catch up on "Attila stuff". If someone wants to believe it, it's better for the sake of this forum to leave it like that, just so there won't be 1000+ pages here.

Off Topic: Yay, Polish parliament just decided to shorten it's term. So long Kaczynski brothers

^ Mainly it's about corrupt govt. For last year I've quit watching TV, because each day there was something in the news making me feel sick. Even to Americans corruption rate in Poland could appear unimaginable (not in $, but in ways of commiting it - this to be said: Poles are masters of getting past law, Polish politicians being arch-masters).

Wasn't really discussing it, just referring to a study I read, otherwise I don't know jack about the subject and wasn't really insisting on the truthfulness of the study.
