LINESII- Into the Darkness- Part II

Greek is not bloody Roman. I must make that abundantly clear. However, being related to the Valins is not a problems (and really closer to a necessity). However, it would be best if somehow they came from the same place and are cousins, not one descended from the other. I could not bear the thought of Greeks coming from Romans as opposed to the other way around :p

You're totally right. And Valin's always been a strange mix of Greek and Roman anyway, with a few Semitic influences thrown in here and there.

Iggy talked a lot about Veritas being an offshoot of the same race that Davar and Eldrania were related to, so yours being related as well isn't out of the question at all.

Hmmm... sounds Greek to me :p

They have an unhealthy obsession with knives.

Looks like we're in business!

No seriously, I actually knew those little tidbits, but thanks for the heads up as to their OTL parallels (or lack thereof!), Farow.

Sounds good to me! Mine will be very close to yours, Thlayli, with some obvious differences, of course. We should get along fine though ;)

Alright, stay with me. (Supposively) Imago- always attemptiong to thwart me- will submit to Thlayli this turn and turn control of his people back over to him (which seems kinda unlikely, if you ask me.) I'll go along with this, but don't think I'm about to fall for anything. From there Thlayli will attempt to create a mimic nation of mine, some Valin Union or something. I'll assume that they're not completely bsing me.

Second Treaty of Venix

1.) All hostilities between the nations of Ardan and Norvalin are to cease immediatly. Any army present on foreign soil will return- unabidged or harressed by enemy forces- immediatly to the land of the home.

2.) Norvalin, and to an extent the Veritas it shall soon join, will officially renounceany and all claims to all land under Ardan control at present time.

3.) Norvalin merchants will also renounce any and all superior trading claims assurted to them in previous peace talks. In return Norvalin will agree to grant Ardan merchants special indeminities within their lands, including a reduction in all taxes currently levied upon them.

4.) Norvalin- acknowledgig the potential source of conflict- will cede the land to Arcadia's east to the soverign nation of Ardan. Norvalin will also- ackowldging its hostility in the past- cede the region to the direct north of Arcadia to provide a more defensive border for Arcadia. Arcadia will pay the sum of one valak (eco) to comple the transaction.

5.) Norvalin will also pay three valaks (eco) to Arcadia in return for damages done to Arcadian property, nationals, and honor during its last three incurssions into Arcadia. Norvalin will in reality pay two valaks in return for Arcadia paying nothing.

6.) A non-voidable, unbreakable three term NAP will be placed immediatly between Norvalin-region and and Ardan.

7.) Norvalin port cities will not interfer in any troop movements performed by Ardan. This will be returned in favor to all Valin ships, excluding the right to dock for armies within the cities of Ardan, Vael Dash, and Venix. Also strict regulations will be placed upon all Valin armies moving through Ardan territories that must be kept in check.

8.) The senior member of the Norvalin- and Valin- churches will admit the legitimicy of Pire and his holy work, and that Pirian is an acceptable faith within the church. In return the breakoff Church of Pire will reopen theological discussion with the Orthodox Valin.

9.) To prevent another conflict between Ardan and the Valins, each paty will submit a permanet diplomat to the other's capital capable of dealing wiht any issue that arises.

OOOC: Whaaaaat? i didn't exactly give anything away most people don't know by now. ;]

Darkening, I'm actually very upset that you posted that. You know what I asked you, and you went against it.

Can you please get on MSN for a second?

OOC: I agree to basically everything you've written there, but I'd asked you not to post it. And the fact that you did is disappointing.

Egh, what now? Thats the last copy I have and I don't have MSN. Either relay everything to Alex, or pm me ;]. Everything I posted I thought I got okay'd by you, anyways.

I agree to everything except the land cession, which I thought included just the eastern city. It's just that I'd asked you not to post the details of the treaty, that's all.

Oh nononononononononoNO. Don't even try that with me -_-. The land deal is what WE agreed upon last time we spoke, cause I was adamant about the fact I believed you guys were trying to trick me. I said (actual words) that the borders "would be moved north to the city."

Also, I doubt it'd matter if I posted the treaty. Everyone against you already knows your plan. I don't take double-crossing very well (even if its imaginary).

It's quite imaginary. Like I said, we still agree to the cession of territory. Both cessions. But like I said, I didn't want you to post the details here.

New Veritas, soon to be dissolved and replaced with the Valin Republic of Veritas, signs the treaty.

Littleboots, contrary to what everyone would have you beleive, we're not strange and brutal.

We're a lot like a laid back Sparta combined with large Relgious(Muslim/Early Christian) role culturally. And there is a little Persia in their too. And some Bushido Culture. And some Ivan stage Russia.

We're just a happy hodge-podge. I would hate to be a total rip off of a culture, even using words from it........latin words.........that mean Truth.....and are also a little-known British Political Party.

Ah well, the more you know!;)

I'd hate to be sniping at other people's cultures that existed almost a millennia before some other cultures could even figure out how to form complex sentences.

No need to get Rolly-Eyed here, just playful banter. I full respect Veritas and I am happy to be able to slowly wipe it from the map

I'm afraid that doesn't seem to mix with

Okay, I concede we may be a little itsy bitsy tiny bit brutal, but were Elegantly Brutal.

We torture...........in style!

Its like Court of Star Chamber meets the Fab Five!

Orders sent. Norvalin is officialy dead.

...But something greater will be born...

^ you have an treaty to end the conflict in this area when Arcadia/Arda is also fighting me and the map shows them in control of my country.

orders sent.

I think I'll join somewhere in the far east. When do you reguire orders?

I really have no desire to build another nation in the old world. Are there any nations in the new world that are on quite hilly terrain and with lots of warlike neighbours nearby?

Um, South of Sintonia, and there's at least one aggressive neighbour.

Other than that, there's really not much at this time.

That is, much that is capable of supporting civilization yet.
