LINESII- Into the Darkness- Part III

Iggy, who do I officially have contact with?

Edit: And where's the time for my wonder? Which should be at 1, due to the point I invested in it first turn, but 1/?

Cease and desist your aggressive actions in Sintonia immediately! Ours should be a time of peace, yet you seek to rashly annex a Bladeist state because you owned SOME lands within their current sphere? This is egregious and outrageous and will not be tolerated. You have seized lands you have no claim to and that have none of your kind. Leave immediately, cease attempting to re-enflame religious wars you fool!

So ends the peacefulness of Otaria ;).

Btw, for whoever thought it would be a good idea to start a bladeist state to my north, I suggest you go ahead and pack your bags ;). Exodus ahoy!

We agree headquarters of the Brotherhood will be moved to a port city such as Rethalgow as it is closer tou our southern brethren, but it only seems necessary to hold the first meeting at the city where Bladeism was first founded

We respectfully request a Myocacan reply to our peace proposal.

From: The Valin Republic of Veritas
To: Myocaca

We respectfully refuse. Sintonia has ceased to exist as an independent entity. Though we do not wish for war with your nation, we will protect our shores if you choose to attempt an attack on our sovereign territory.

Again, we promise that all Bladeists in Sintonia will have the full protections of Veritas, including freedom of religion and the right to vote. We are also willing to pay you a considerable sum for your withdrawal. The choice for war is yours to make, but we hope for peace.

Your Oneist population is toast.

Yes, I'd realized that, but on the stats, it says:

"Svitzer Swade with small Valin Minority, all are officially Bladeist though much of the Valin Population secretly practices Oneism."

So, you know, even if it is toast, there is no need for secrecy. :P

But it's just a small nit. Whatever, it's not as if it matters. :p

Aryie would also like a reply for her proposal, of sorts.

OOC: Erm... WHAT VALIN INFLUENCES? DIE REPUBLICANISM/DEMOCRACY IN MEDIEVAL GUANGFEI!
You're the one who's letting it happen. :p

Qingdao is getting to be a very interesting culture. While most of Guangfei is calm and unaffected by the rest of the world, the people of Qingdao are worldly and full of the adventure and rush of changing times.

PM still needs to be answered.
Sorry, busy. Answering soon (sorry Carmen, orders will be further delayed).
Iggy, not sure if I took it out or not, but why isn't there a third city in Orum?

EDIT: Nvm, I spotted the little city on the river. Thanks.

Iggy, I counted my economy to be eight, maybe nine on the map. 3 cities (Ardan, Vael Dash, and the Nontin city), Orum, Three Arcadian provinces, then the province of Ardan (the region I control) in addition to the small bottom slice of the province if you decide to include that.
I'll look into this.

Fixing... and you have contact with Sintonia, Veritas, and Guangfei. Though it wouldn't be hard to communicate with others.

Not that any Bladeist is unenthusiastic to make a pilgrimage to the holy city of Swade.

Strongly worded letters is what we're sending, not ships. And don't noob hate. If you read the story they're not really that expansionist, they're peaceful and Utopian. Leave them be:cry:

I'd like a response to my PM eventually, but send Diplomacy orders first!

You have been readily beaten, and the time has come for negotiation. We will accept peace at current borders if your King and ruling elite immediately convert to Gorrahnism and make a pilgrimage to Gamorrea to affirm your faith, as well as allow the Takil-Gorrahn to preach within your land.

Hahaha- you're almost too cute Swiss :). Like I said, they have one chance to run for the hills ;). That's me being noob-nice, the warning :).

We would like to entertain the notion of signing a treaty of trade and friendly nonagression. Would you?

Could you give a description of Gorrahnism? I need one for the stats.

And I'm not sure if our player for Fairhelt is still here.

So if he doesn't show up for a while, I'll answer with a question:

Hmm... what is this 'Gorrahnism' faith?

Qingdao is getting to be a very interesting culture. While most of Guangfei is calm and unaffected by the rest of the world, the people of Qingdao are worldly and full of the adventure and rush of changing times.

In other words, very much like RL southern China and reminiscent of the constant tensions between the liberal southern coastal merchant class and the northern Chinese elite during the Tang dynasty and pretty much constantly thereafter (except during the Southern Song, when the northern Chinese elite were mostly in Jin and the southerners dominated court life).

I suppose, though to be honest Chinese history's one of my weak points. I must work on improving it.

I'm currently memorizing more Indian history, as it's my other main weakness.

I would imagine that Qingdao is still probably more worldly than southern China ever was. Southern China was never occupied by a foriegn power (well, except the Mongols).

The Gorrahnist faith teaches of the supreme being, Gorrah, who is recognized as the same (but differently interpreted) God of the New Eldist faith, Eldos. His teachings speak of the pursuit of prosperity through stability, self-enrichment (somewhat like knowledge) and nationalism, and the supremacy of his followers over those of the other faiths. It is mostly a syncretic faith of New Eldism and Gooranism, and as such adopts principles of both (with a more northern twist).

OOC: I miss the percent stats :(. Is Gorrahnism up to 40% yet?

Like I said, they have one chance to run for the hills ;). That's me being noob-nice, the warning :).
HAHA!

They already ran for the hills. And settled in them. Pwned.

U lose semantikz

OOC: Do we have to discuss Qingdao here? I am very well acquainted with Chinese history thank you :p I do feel the need for a purge, similar to stalin's purge of the kulaks... Of course, Qingdao proportionally speaking is hardly as large as Southern China and of course, I hardly think Guangfei will be reduced to Qingdao of all places...

And yes, you're so right iggy. What on earth was I thinking when I wrote stories about that Valin-Loving Prince turned Emperor? :crazyeye: I think my next Emperor will be a bloody xenophobic one who will purge Guangfei proper of all Valin influences :p

OOOH!OOOOH! What now, loud mouth :)?
