on another note about the manjunks, Id love to have an athletic cup made out of this. No more chaffing, and when the ball or foot or lacrosse stick or whathaveyou gets perilously close to the family jewels.. BAM! like a bam only Emril could understand, its stops said sports equipment/bodypart, thus preserving you lineage

This could be useful in spacecraft, to prevent micrometeorites from causing too much havoc for example.

That's a good example, but I am guesing it's main purpose will be for troops and combat.

for right now, Id say so, as that is what it was originally designed for, but give it time to mature into other areas. The use of a projectile-stopping technology is somewhat limited, though, to stopping projectiles

aim for the knees, so then it stiffens. then u the enamy will be inmoble.

Well compared to what happens when they aim for the knees without this stuff, I'd take a small hinderance vs. prosthetics.

Does it soften up after the impact, or does it stay solid.

I immagine there might be mobility problems if you were to fully coat your clothing with it. Like when running through bushes the legs might stiffen up. Or when droping on your knees to hide it would stiffen. Or when catching something with your hands such that your joints buckle. Hell, any kind of fast movement could cause it to stiffen in a joint.
