Yeah, but Grievances are not the opposite of Diplomatic Favour. If the injured party is not in a position to punish you with a war, they are effectively worthless. And you still have your Favour to spend.

Breaking the promise would also set them up to have a CB against you should they declare war. We don't know the whole story about grievances, but I have a hard time believing that there's any amount of grievances that can balance the 30 favour you get for the promise.
That's what I'm talking about. Grievances are the new warmonger opinion modifiers. If they don't declare war on you within the next however-many turns, the Grievances really have no value at all.
I really wish Firaxis would be a little more severe on megacolossal volcanic explosions. It's kind of ridiculous that warrior unit survived. It's like they are afraid to really push things. Considering all the awesome tile yields that this results in, an explosion this size should insta kill any unit within one tile except GDR.

yeah as far as I can tell, players will be exploiting volcanos almost purely for a benefit after a few games. I don't mind, its like there's mini natural wonders all over the place, doubt thats what they intended tho.
Does the tourism generated by Rock Bands goes to everyone like your tourism per turn or it affect only the Civ where you activated it? I mean, if I get 500 tourism in a concert in China, do I get 500 only with china or 500 with each Civ + boost from modifiers (trade routes, open borders)?
