1762AD(0) - Pre-turn. Wow! What a different land from the last time I see it. ;) Changed Marble Canyon to wall. Egypt landed a pikeman near Chondote.
1764AD(1) - Egyptian starts Newton. Egyptian landing party eliminated. Killed more war elephants.
1766AD(2) - Tecumseh appears in battle. Wall Street rushed in Steve's. Killed more enemy units. El-Ashmunein autorazed by our Cavalry. India landed 2 War Elephants near Chandote.
1768AD(3) - War Elephant near Chandote is no more. Redcloud appears in battle and Courthouse rushed in St. Regis. Kawauka founded on the foundation of ex-El-Ashmunein. More troops landed near Chandote.
1770AD(4) - Killed more enemies. Landing parties near Chandote is no more and Sitting Bull appears in battle. An army is formed since no particular important thing to rush. Our SoD moves towards the Persian town of Zohak. Indian troops shift some of their attention to our SoD but we sustain no losses.
1772AD(5) - Shenandoah appears in battle and bank at Grand River is rushed.
1774AD(6) - Discovered Magnetism and going for Navigation. Cornplanter appears in battle and Library in St. Regis is rushed.
1776AD(7) - Zzzzz
1778AD(8) - Killed off more enemy troops. Our Cavalry army sees action at Zohak. Paid 220gp for Navigation and declare war on Japanese. Japanese are backward as they lack alot of technologies that we have.
1780AD(9) - Tecumseh appears in battle near Zohak. Magellan rushed in Marble Canyon. More enemy troops butched.
1782AD(10) - Egypt change their Mangellan to Newton.

So far our score is only behind Japanese and yet they are technologically behind us. As to army, we appears to be the strongest among all in military. I believe its time for the offensive! We can try moving along Zohak side to avoid the
jungles and with the well laid road we are in for some fun time. ;) Remember to keep some reserve troops behind the line as AI like to land troops behind our line.

Since we bought Navigation - what are we researching? Hopefully ToG and close to leaving the middle ages before 1800!
 
(0) 1782 AD - I immediately switch Zohak to starvation mode - a culture flip would kill us hear.
TO ALL - If you are going to capture city - please STARVE them immediately.
A flip in Zohak would really hurt us.

Science to 100% - I want ToG - NOW. I just hope I get the leader to rush it with. Dark Sheer may have used up all our

leaders ;)

:confused: Why the #!@#! do we have cavalry on the moutains? This is a terrible place for cavalry.
They should neither be attacking into moutains or defending them.

(1) 1784 AD - I really hate cities that I get from the AI - Akkad has **11** excess food.
With rails that will get worse.
(I) We start research RAILS - We finally enter the Industrial age.


(2) 1786 AD - 4 lousy units enter the kill zone. Hardly seems worth firing the cannons.
[dance] Red cloud appears.
But in a horrid spot - I can't use him until 1790 to rush Newtons.
Why did he have to appear by New Bombay with the exit route jungle?
(I) Gee, I wonder why India wants to talk?
They are getting deseparate - they will offer us 1 city.
A longblowmen actual kills a musketman.


(3) 1788 AD - We RAZE size 9 New Bombay at the cost of 1 cavalry.
+4 workers, +2 future cannons (catapults)
OH NO! - I have to kill the Egypt landing force of 1 spearman
Snagged to English workers - however, will the capturing unit live?


(4) 1790 AD - Red cloud agrees - newton's would be nice in Salamanca.
We have to kill 2 landings by 2 nations - 2 troops total :crazyeye:


(5) 1792 AD - You know it's hard to get leaders when the AI won't give you any units to kill!
(I) Zzzzzzzzzzzz.... Not a single AI attack.


(6) 1794 AD - Sitting Bull is back, and rushes a marketplace in Kawauka - the only city I can reach this turn.
Again a rough location to appear!
Uh - now Shenandoah appears - Uh, what to build?
Army #2. One more and we can build the Pentagon.
I wish I could send one of these leaders to GOTM#8!


(7) 1796 AD - Gee, this time a 2 knight invasion by Steve's.
Kente is founded - speed rushed walls - rushed worker, rushed walls - $120.

I have some very bad news for the other inferior civs - The killing zone is officially closed.

The key turn - steam power next turn - will we have coal?

Drop science rate to 80% - we now net $84/turn.
The domestic nag tells me what I already know - we can build the pentagon.

(9) 1800 AD - This time I am VERY happy to kill a lone pikeman that landed -
Tecumseh appears - the Pentagon is built.

(10) 1802 AD - Kiohero is formed - we are officially past the jungle.
The INR is proud to annouce the eastern branch -
Centralia, Mauch Chunk, Salamanca, Niagra Falls, Steve's and Grand River - next destination River Bend.



THERE WILL BE A LOT OF "J" MOVEMENT FROM WORKERS THE FIRST ROUND.


Summary - RAZE large cities - we can't risk a flip.

Leader goal - Universal Suffarge (to stop the AI from getting it), Factories

Science goals - Nationalism, then head toward the ToE.

Rail goals - thin net, NOT in any coastal spots.
Once we get a good net, we can have just 1 cavalry reserve zone.

Worker coals - get the second coal connected - safeguard against an fizzled resource.

The only civ ahead of us with any tech - Egypt with Nationalism, and they are scientific.

This looked good the second Babylon died, and we got to one front. With the FP online we have a great production capacity.

PLUS: If the leader frenzy keeps up...
Your run was good. I got Newton, Pentagon, 2 armies and a marketplace. If we get to rush some factories - look out. A rushed factory is worth way more then the shields to build. If it shows up 10 turns earlier - 9 more turns of bonus production.

The key here - keep the cavalry rush going. I destroyed 2 large cities, build 2 new ones, and most important of all: Pushed the front line forward.

Once the rails come on line - we have much more choice where use the leaders.

Keep this one moving - cavalry vs. Musketman is a slaughter. Our next big step - major progress before the AI gets Rifleman.

Leader frenzy cooled down. I think it is because the Persians, English and Indians are afraid of us and are hiding in their towns and it takes longer to kill em that way.

1802AD -- preturn -- All of Zohak 's citizens changed to clowns, this will produce a good Persian :D Boost science rate up to get industrialzation in 4 turns.

1804AD Norwich is captured and razed. Connecting cities to the railnet.

(I) Musketman trampled to death by elephant.

1806AD Ergili captured and razed. The above elephant is turned into a piano. More cities connected to railnet.

1808AD Dariush Kabir captured and razed. More rails.

(I) We learn industrialzation and start nationalism.

1810AD More rails.

1812AD Iron City Founded.
Emerald Shores founded.
Owego Founded.
Ganges captured and razed.

1814AD Sameria captutred and razed.
Ghelaman captured and razed.

1816AD Kente is abandoned by building a settler to move it south.
Bactra captured and razed.

(I) Japan lands an invasion force in the north of 3 horsemen and 1 archer.

English land a pikeman next them.

1818AD Railnet brings cavalry to kill off invasion force. :)
Fighting down south gets the GL Red Cloud. Red Cloud starts heading north to build US. More towns connected by Rail.

Kente rebuilt.

1820AD Red cloud rushes US.
Richmond is captured and added to empire.
Exeter is captured and added to empire.

Turn 9 looks like a good time to stop.

We have 3 settlers in the south and 1 settler near a railroad in the north. They will all need a couple of few turns to get any where to found a city. I do not have any settlers being built.

Iron City is building the Iron Works before anything else, just incase a resource disapears. I almost rushed it with Red Cloud instead of Univeral Suffering.

I notice the rail line between Salamanca and Cattaraugus is coastal. When the AI gets Ironclads it LOVES to bomb tiles.
DON'T build thin rail-net along the coast.


We still have a hugh tech lead on our land mass - keep pushing forward!

I've been working on the railroad.

I've been working on the railroad. Troops moving into position to take out Persepolis. A Japanese invasion force consisting of one archer is wiped out. :lol:

I found Fishville.

Persepolis is raised, with 4 new slaves!


(4)1828:
Moving units into position.

(5)1830:
Plainstown is established.

Pasgardea is razed to the ground! Nice of someone to leave me that killer stack of Cannon :)

(6)1832:
We complete Medicine and start the Corporation. We rest our stack to heal.

(7)1834:
Our SoD moves next to Sardis.

(8)1836:
Sardis razed. 2 new slaves!

(9)1838:
Better Persepolis founded in a better spot than the old one.

(10)1840:
Pollution starts up. Good thing we have a rail net already.

Killed a few more units. Yada yada yada. :)

There are a couple of settlers around waiting for escorts. Our stack is healing outside Antioch(?)


Went pretty well I think. I knocked out a few cities and founded a few. You may want to check the build orders. I left a few on ironclad because I think we need a few more. The new cities are on rifles, you may want to change that too.

Well, no actually, I've been waiting for the game. When I saw Joe had posted I grabbed it but couldnt play then. Civ is still my top priority. :D

Great news on razing Persepolis. We are ripping apart the core cities of Persia.

The only bad news - I did see 1 leader :(
