1685AD(1) - Jilin captured. Rouen captured. Changsa captured. Fuzhou captured. Harbin captured. Wuhan captured. Thessalonica liberated. Kagoshima liberated. Macau captured. Chongqing captured. Grenoble liberated. Canton captured. Bonn founded. France and India alliance against Aztec.
1690AD(2) - Amazon founded. Tzintzuntzen captured. Besancon liberated. Fushun captured. Nagoya captured. Hong Kong captured. Greenland-18 founded. Taipei captured. Loyang captured.
1695AD(3) - Discovered Genetics and going for Laser. Malinalco captured. Washington captured. Salzburg founded. Wenzhou captured. Horsa appeared in battle for Wenzhou. Cure for cancer rushed in Berlin. Yinchuan captured. Shimonoseki captured.

So far still need 2093 tiles for domination victory.

Looks like my feeling about the game was right -

China is collapsing very fast. Almost all of the city names are ex-China cities.

Extrereme flip risk city - I hope a max of one 1 defender!

As for the domination victory - it needs rushed culture buildings above all A city is 9 squares. Libraries will add at least that much - maybe more with border merging.

I was actually rush building South American settlers - there is so much to settler there!


Leader rushing rule - Berlin was a BAD rush location -
I rush wonders with leaders in LOW production cities.

1700AD(4) - China & Aztec signed peace treaty. China & Zulu signed peace treaty. Cure for Cancer completed in Berlin. Haikou captured. Guiyang autorazed. Rangoon captured by our Marines at no lost. Greenland-19 founded. Tlatelolco razed. Dortmund founded.
1705AD(5) - South America-01 founded. Hengyang captured & China is down to 2 island city which we need to take by Marines. Japan & India alliance against Aztec.
1710AD(6) - Brandenburg founded. Danzig founded. Siberia-23 founded. Peshawar captured by our Marines with no losses.
1715AD(7) - New York captured at size 1. Cempoala captured. Calcutta captured & the whole Eurasia continent now belongs to Germany.
1720AD(8) - Tlaxcala captured. Dusseldorf founded. Indus captured at the cost of 2 marines. Japan & India signed MPP. Our lone galley is sunked by Japanese Ironclad.
1725AD(9) - Xochicalco captured together with 3 artillery at the cost of 3 MA. Duisburg founded. Mandalay captured at the cost of 1 Marine. India & America alliance against Aztec.
1730AD(10) - San Francisco captured at size 1. Tenochtitlan captured at size 5. Howrah captured at the cost of 1 Marine and India is no more.

Next I believe we should plan for the invasion of Japanese homeland. I have already build some transport but I think they are too far away. Chinese is nothing now and with some marines we can easily take the last 3 Chinese cities that are defended the most by rifleman. Aztec is also a goner. The only
challenge left is the Iroquis and they are the only Civ that will prevent us from a cultural victory so do remember to eliminate them last. Domination is still quite a long way to go with 1458 tiles more to go as this map has alot of sea square which is very hard to cover by culture. Because of this reason, I ordered a number of temple in those cities that already have library to make things faster. It looks to me that a conquest victory is much easier.

However, are still quite a bit if libraries to rush in Asia.
For example: Calculta claiming 12 more tiles.

Still parts of Greeland to claim.
Even hugh gaps left in America.

NO out of control irrigation - I remember your play from an previous LK open game. NO irrigation over existing mines!

To be honest, if irrigating over an existing mine will increase the population so that the new citizen can work on a hill or mountain I believe thats alright.

The irragation comments were because of the fact that in a previous game Kevinicus blindly irragated EVERY SQUARE that he could to the point a city had +12 food and 4 shields. Production was falling to nothing, and I think a wonder was lost due to the excess irragation.

When i investigated the city, i saw a tactical nuke, so we got to destroy it as
well.

Frederick appears when mopping up some silly american mechinf. rushes library.

Holy airfields batman! - i send a lot of MA from Eastern Asia to Chicago. I love
that beachhead i established so long ago. you guys have used it well.

lots of libraries built.


I left an grand army of units ready to airlift as the next commander sees fit.
Some pre-turn captures probably possible.

Also - i have some marines building in europre that can be airlifted and sent to South
america to eliminate the aztec.


what's our position on thermo-nuclear warfare? we have 1 tactical nuke and 1 in the
pipeline. could have used them vs. the huge iroquois cities.

Our position on nukes - NO!
I don't want to find a large stack of our units shreaded by a nuke. Plus I don't want to deal with the pollution havoc and several global warming problems.

We need "just" 947 squares. First time we didn't have the thousand column. I suspect we still have a few libraries left to rush somewhere

Plus I read 100% American continent cities - We probably have a few strays still in Asia to claim.

I may get it in 9 hours....

well, it obviously makes sense to go after continental cities first. There are no more _continental_ cities in Europe/Asia/Africa to go after. There may be some zulu, but we were not at war at the time. I did drop a load of units next to a Japanese city, but it was a long journey for them, so next player can take it.

In Asia, my primary occupation was library-rusher and modern-armor-finder.

I agree on modern armor finder - We have gained cities faster then we would be mech-inf to guard them

"library-rusher" The number one thing that some people miss in domination - close the cultural borders. Most cities gain a few squares with a culture building. Depending on the city layout you may get that bonus from closing a few of the overlap squares.

I don't know if we can get 900 more squares from America. Of course, that is why things like Greenland-20 founded happen. That was why I snagged the two small islands west of Central America.

I will have to take a look at the map tonight.
