BOB DYLAN'S ROCKIN OUT!
Alright, here are my (extremely mind-numbing) ten turns:
(0) OK, I check around, everything seems just fine. We have a settler free in Berlin, but I don't see anywhere to put him...I guess I'll just throw him down in the desert. We WILL need oil, after all.
(1) Settler build in Leipzig. He'll go to the desert as well. What is this wandering spearman doing? I'll just fortify him in a nearby city.
(2) Nothing.
(3) Rome gets Poly and 40g for Contstruction. 6+ cities will be nice. I decide we'll go min sci on Monarchy for 16gpt.
(4) Hamburg revolts, I raise lux that I accidentally lowered. Damn it! Our settler is killed by a wandering horseman.
(5) We send a pack of workers to clear some jungle.
(6) Nothing. I check around diplomacy, and we seem to have a tech lead (mostly Poly) on just about everyone. But, because we are already hauling in 16gpt, selling would be worthless. I'm waiting to buy.
(7) Tons of American units are streaming through our territory, apparently to kill that barb camp and get a free 25g.
(8) Nothing.
(9) A whole stack of barb horsemen appear outside Cologne. Hopefully our lone elite Warrior can stave them off, and make a GL while we're at it. I decide to change our new city site: forget the desert, lets take some jungle and turn it into a productive grassland city.
(10) So much for the heroic warrior. The first horse kills him, the rest kill villagers, destroy temple (in progress) and steal about 100 gold. Damn. About the spear/settler heading south, just pick any jungle spot you want. The spot isn't too important.
