LONES: Dawn over a New World

Is Dymaea's +1 Nationhood reflected in the updated stats?

Should be. All nationhood stats start at "Accepting", so if it's only one higher than that, it has been reflected appropriately.

We have hunted and killed many barbarian tribes, assimilated those who were willing to become civilized into our culture. But you do not seem like those barbarians, you are civilized. We propose to open both our ports to merchant ships from each other. It is better than causing bloodshed over some piece of land.

King John the Thinker and Queen Deborah the Wise (or the Fair), traveled up and down Great River, unlike their predecessors, they spent their time outside of the capital of Prosperity learning from the people. On day the king entered a small bakery to purchase bread, however he looked in his coin purse only to find it was empty. He was very hungry and he wanted to dine with his wife that night, so instead of returning to the capital, nearly 50 miles away, he wrote the clerk a royal claim. He told the clerk that he could give the claim to the treasury and he would receive the gold. The store owner accepted the cheque, and the king had an epiphany, he could use lighter paper as money, instead of gold coins (the Citian Prosperity). He asked his wife Deborah to order the Treasury to start printing paper claims to gold coins in the treasury. Deborah then used taxation to take almost 95% of the gold coin out of circulation, replacing them almost entirely with paper claims. The people were very happy with the new, easier and lighter system of exchange, and commerce exploded with the easier medium of exchange.

An excellent idea! Let both our nations prosper.

I don't seem to have any stats..

Also, how are you editing that map, MSpaint?

I suggest instead of using the brush tool, use the pencil to draw borders, then fill. This way you don't destroy coastlines/islands etc.

Nation/Culture Name: Gvardia
Government: Despotism (of sorts)
Capital: Arot
Population: Leave blank
Economy: Leave blank
Religion: The leader of Bravia is considered a short term deity (called the Kovia) chosen by the spirits to lead the nation. It is customary to donate food and slaves to the Temple in which the Kovia resides to lead his armies, heal the sick, and pass judgement.
Loyalty/Nationhood: Leave blank
Wonders/Projects: Leave blank
Army: Leave blank
Navy: Leave blank
Anything else you might wish to add/description/etc: The Gvardians are an aggressive people, yet they strive for knowledge. The highest honor a man could have is to be a warrior of the Kovia. A warrior is judged in the eyes of the Temple not by the number of kills but by the success of his campaign and by the number of slaves he captures. A much more detailed description of religoin and culture to come soon.

Please start me off at the base of the Mississippi.

orders:
Spoiler :
Expand in every direction especially along the river.
Give enciuntered people 1 chance to join Gvardia and adopt its religion. If they do not, enslave or eradicate them.
Use the slaves to construct several fortifications along the Mississippi

Spoiler :
Calli:

- focus on technology and science (schools and universities for starters)
The goal will be to discover the true rules of the gods (= astrology and positioning)

-Do not expand our territories, but we will send out small groups on missions to trade, expand our culture over the area, and make allies.

- We will try to make our tribes more urban. The places where schools and Universities area build shall be picked wisely, the idea is to grow larger city's from there. Extra facilities will be build to help this expansion. (the main-elder in every village will have a bigger house, from where to guide people.

- A council of elders will be created, to speak law over issues, crimes,... These Elders will be elected by the elders of every city.
