Long waiting times for leader screens

Hi, since the patch my computer sometimes has problems when the leaderhead screen comes up. It will stall for about 20-30 seconds during while i see constant harddrive activity. It never crashes though...eventually it will always continue the game.

Before the patch i never had any problems...how is it possible??

E6600@3Ghz
nvidia 295
4gb ram
win7-x64

Anyone else experience similar problems?

Same here, almost identical system. Fortunately only ~5-10 seconds for me, probably due to having CiV on my SSD.

Hmm...switching to DX9 mode seems to "fix" the problem.
