Looking for a video converter without quirks

I'm looking for a program to convert .vob files to .mpg, .wmv or .mp4 without any unwanted side effects like spyware (Auto GK), screwing up the rest of the system (Super C), distorting sound (Movavi), etc.

I'm perfectly willing to pay for it if it's free from quirks like these.

Any Suggestions?

.vob is a dvd container format, so you're gonna have to use something to decode that. I think you just downloaded a bad copy of Auto GK cus I have used that and never did it have spyware in it.

Thank you both for your advices. I settled for WinFF which did the job without any vices.
