I really would not expect Civ7 in at least 2 years ... how much passed between Civ 5 last expansion and Civ 7 release. And upon that take into consideration that todays games take much longer to develop than before when we had mayor releases every 2-3 years for every franchise.

Yes, but I think it's clear development started early last year at the latest (and more likely started sometime in 2019). I think a 2022/23 release is within the realm of possibility. I agree that a 2021 release is very, very unlikely.
For what it's worth, Brave New World was released in July 2013 and VI was released in October 2016, which is a gap of more than three years. Also, VI was announced in May 2016, which was only five months before release.
On the other hand, we've always had a new numbered game every 4-6 years (1991, 1996, 2001, 2005, 2010, 2016) and we're already on year 5, so if we don't get something in 2022, then that'll be a new record for time between major releases. I wouldn't be surprised if we have to wait an extra year since we got the New Frontier Pass.
I don't think NFP affected Civ7's development--or the development of whatever is coming next. NFP was clearly assembled by a skeleton crew, and the main development team has already moved on. If anything related to NFP delays whatever is next, it will be the marketing team wanting to avoid overlap.
I did and I have the game but it did not scratch my itch in full It's a nice game for sure but it does not have the 'adventure' part with the release of endorphins when you pick up a chest
Eh. I suspect that if they've been waiting for 2K's approval to move ahead with another round of content, or to release the Complete Edition, then it will probably be several months before we see whichever is the case. On the one hand, they would want something demonstrable to show ahead of another Pass. On the other, they would want the sales of NFP and NFP component DLCs to max out before announcing the Complete Edition.
If they do decide to do another Pass, we may see another summer survey.
Like I said, I play Portal for GLaDOS. And to a lesser extent for Wheatley. "I'm speaking in an accent beyond her range of hearing!" "You know I can still hear you."
If civ7 retains 1UPT system then I am going to automatically assume it is going to have useless AI and low difficulty level and move on.
I don't know if it's technically impossible to do good 1UPT AI with short AI turn times, or if it's devs incompetence, but I'm not spending years on the faint hope that they will FINALLY bother to address this fundamental problem of the game.
1UPT is a good idea on paper, but so far in practice it turns out to be the equivalent of beating a mentally challenged child - yes I do win, but at what cost to my humanity?
I mean, on a theoretical level I understand the appeal of "challenge," but the AI is considerably less concerning when you're just here to build a nice empire and think of the AI opponents as set dressings...
no 4x has good AI, but some have rules that does not penalize it as much.
if you really want 1UPT, you can give the units more movement points and more open space on the map to compensate, civ6 did the opposite compared to civ5 rules.
and civ4 tactical AI is simpler than civ5, yet more threatening for the humans "thanks" to unlimited stacking.
