Thanks to everybody who participated! This was a ton of fun -- millenia of holding on by our fingernails, probably 100 great leaders, a near-cultural victory in a non-capital city, actually doing research.

Thanks to Jester, Sirian, cpp1, and Toecheese for joining me in this one. It was a blast. Very intense turns every time around. And we had very good participation until near the end.

PS 250 unit SOD? WOWSERS! I knew they had a ton of troops, just didn't realize it was THAT large. That's even more than the artillery I left you.

Every turn one step away from disaster, trying to hold out against overwhelming odds... it was truly a great game! Special thanks to Arathorn for creating one of the most popular and difficult variants yet for Civ3.
