How do the barbarians join you? They appear out of nowhere? They've got to be relatively close to your civ? Or is it just 5 random barbarians from around the map that you suddendly get to control?
I have played 7 games against Mapuche so far, and I witnessed the Ndongo's ability at last. Land covered in shadows, hilarious, but I have yet to conquer them (want to see how useful is ability, range penalty should be pretty devastating). Ndongo needs a better art though and Bank should be buffed in order to give all this turtling any sense. Niitsitapi actually have placeholder UB, so it has to be designed. At last, even though I believe Mapuche traits are quite useful ("slow" aura would be great on multi probably), they need more fun. I am thinking that General should reclaim enemy citadels (if within two or less plots to your territory) - would fit the theme of leeching military power from enemies. Maybe within next two months, at best.Just wondering: Any plans on updating set XV with the flavor stuff I sent you some time ago AKA the music, DOM and such, or will you wait until there's some real maintenance need for an update?
No problems either way!![]()
I actually think that art is decent. Unless, you magically have 3d environment for leaderscene I don't see a point. Sigh, Scythian leaderscene is more of the challenge. Can do. Mind you though, it's Mapuche music, so it'll probably sound weird to your ears..
What else you need? Civilopedia info, diplo/spy/city stuff?
Art references? I've got like 10 MBs of it.![]()
I have no idea how soundtracks work. You can edit those in "Mapuche civ mod.xml". I just add soundtrack tag, the name of in-game civ I believe fits the most. I think the Inca would be most proper, but I have used Brazil as reference. You're the boss!
Now that I remember, the civ was playing European instead of Native American music during gameplay, I assume that can be fixed?
Diplo text is obviously done as well. Though I follow the firaxis standard of greeting/defeat only.
