ls612's C2C Units

@ls612

When you changed Work Boat (Classical) you also changed Work Boat (Medieval). The Medieval version should still be the old type of work boat. Please fix so Classical and Medieval have different models and icon/buttons. Thanks!

Um, there's only three workboat ArtDefines that I found, WORKBOAT_ANCIENT, WORKBOAT, and WORKBOAT_MODERN. I changed the ART_DEF_UNIT_WORKBOAT yesterday, but there isn't any other options for medieval.:confused:

Well then make one so they will have different models (and buttons).

Do you have links to the unit graphics for the Cuban MiG-29 and Gudari?

That may be but the Basque culture was more dominant/active (not sure what word to use) in that Era. I also was possibly thinking of having some sort of UU Combat Worker for them. That's something we don't have yet.

I was thinking of the Spanish Civil War, where the Basque caused havoc (even though they lost), and then their Soviet-backed rebellion through the mid 20th Century, and this unit seems perfect. Who doesn't want an infantry with 2 moves and +to City Attack?

Mm, I'd prefer to make more Modern Culture units, as we already have plenty of ancient and classical Culture Units.

I agree, NO more early stuff, and btw i have the NEW AI Governor's on and it is making the Bandits Hideout, alittle late yet, but maybe with some mor tweaking it might work better, but i didn't re-start a new game and see it it makes Thieves yet.

No he just read what i said wrong is all.:rolleyes:

I thought you were saying that since it had a reduced AI weight that the AI is not making the building first and thus are making it too late for the units to be useful anymore. If it had a higher weight then they would build it sooner and thus have Rogues and Thieves before they go obsolete/upgraded.

ahh Nope.:p

In v24 heavy cavalry seems to go obsolete at chivalry tech but you can still build knight and mailed knight. Shouldn't that be the other way around so knight would go obsolete at chivalry and heavy cav wouldn't.

What do you mean by "obsolete"? I don't think any of the mounted units go obsolete, they only can upgrade into another unit.

I cannot build heavy cavalry(icon is missing in the city screen) after researching chivalry but can build knight and mailed knight. This has been the case in past game versions too. Basically before chivalry you can build knight and heavy cavalry but after chivalry what you can build switches to knight and mailed knight.

Well doesn't the Heavy Cavalry upgrade into the Mailed Knight? That would explain why you cannot build the Heavy Calvary anymore.
I think it would be better if you could build heavy cav and mailed knight since heavy cav has melee bonus and flank attack against archers so it is better suited in some situations than mailed knight. Knight on the other hand isn't that usefull since it has lower strenght(11) which is low compared to other contemporary melee and cavalry units. So I would suggest that knight would upgrade to mailed knight.
