You will see come the update but lets just say there is as of now a HOLY UNIFIED ITALIAN REPUBLIC, which ALL diplo even the one you sent to moose to the now defunct Republic of Italy was sent to. Really did you expect any nation to give up more than 3/4 of their territory without payment or without a war?

I dont think I need saving. Sure my army is heavily outnumbered even when unified but I have the Alps going for me, which I have been fortifying. AND the demands were against the Republic of Italy (which is the south) to give up Sardinia, Sicily and some of the penninsula, so my guess would be a seabourne assault of his navy, and about 15 - 20 land divisions which my navy will simply own as its not only better quality but its numerically superior as well.
Now this is IF Nuclear Kid is going to war which given some of the things I have seen him done is about a 75% chance.

Update begins now actually. I had parts written but doing stats and all that stuff now and the main body of the update.

Update 1: Year 1815
Non Military Events:
The Chinese begin large scale training operations with there army. In south China they train in jungle terrains and learn new forms of combat and begin to revolutionize the style of combat the rest of the world seem to be stuck on. (+ Confidence)
In Japan, the opening of the port of Dejima brings a lot of trade. And with ti not actually being apart of mainland Japan the people allow it.
Heading across the pacific we come to the countries of the Americas. The Peruvian Empire builds a central government bank similar to the bank of England. This along with the vast quantities of gold recently being mined in the areas increases the governments over all economic power. Helping balance out the poverty in some regions via controlling inflation and keeping it to a minimum for the people. This along with the establishment of the University of Lima which brings some of the top Professors at some of the lesser Universities in Europe and other countries to teach. Increasing the education of the people in these areas home can afford it. Which is becoming more and more possible due to economic changes. They also open up military academies for the wealthy. Which may produce in the future some nice leaders.(+ Confidence, + National Intelligence)

Mexican Republic goes through economic reforms, and a new industrializing campaign. Firstly the port cities are being expanded to accommodate for larger and higher quantities of European and other ships. This is highly successful and they bring in new trade. But still they have a long way to go to catch up with other countries in the areas who swallow up the trade. This is of course helped along by a lowering of tariffs and a spreading of trade talks with other countries. Mexico doubles its trade in just one year. Building up new factories in the coastal cities using cheap labor they begin trading higher amounts of there own goods as well. But the people seeing the opportunity for higher wages start protests late in the year. Easily fixable however.
On to Europe now we see Spain increase trade along the Ivory coast attempting but failing to setup trade outposts due to bad storms in the area. And with a lack of funds they just go home to wait for next year.
Moving on to Portugal we see an increase in settlers going to Brazil. Which help settle the deeper regions in the jungles. Increasing amounts of timber are being sent back to Europe which along with a new large amount of coffee being exported brings plenty of cash to Portugal. Which will no doubt fund more expeditions in the Jungles.
To France we move as plenty of change takes place for this European power. Large scale interview type meetings happen with the leaders of various areas and political seats. Generic questions involving taxation and other things government related. This is used to weed out old leaders who appear insufficient, which works and lots of older government leaders are retired and better suited for the jobs are the hand picked best of the best. The increase of the porcelain industry in Limoges, helps it become a center of exports and trade within France itself. (+ Limoges EC,+ Civilian Leadership)

Unification of the new Italian Union. But during all of these talks things go bad in Vienna and the Pope comes back to Italy along with the rest of the heads of the Roman Church. No one is quite sure what happened but something changed and the Pope came back in a hurry. Once he arrived and was introduced to these proposals he immediately gave his praise and told of moving the capitol back to a central and holy location. Project Rome was announced the following weeks and the rebuilding of Rome into a great center of trade and political power for Italy would come. The rest of the years elections and the like to place. Don’t look at me as if this isn’t possible, it is I just am not giving enough details I do not think. But anyway the word was spread via news paper. Italy for Italians. Unification would happen. And the former to presidents would have no right to run for president in the new Unified country but a new election would occur. The Pope would be given slight political power. But officially had no over all say in the country. This of course excited the people as they were a vast majority Catholic. But during the unification troubles arrived. In the shape of Austria. (see military events) Which would shake the new Italy to its core and test its new military and navy. Its new name is Holy Unified Republic of Italy.
Now On to the United Kingdom. An immediate rebuilding campaign began in 1814. Homes were to be inspected for safety and streets were to be cleaned by newly formed cleaning men. Which showed effects on health rather fast. The people wanting a better life and wanting to escape polluted and poor Britain, moved to the colonies. Mainly in India and Australia. Which caused expansion on a high scale. Australia saw lots of expansion but the natives disliked and even killed a few of the pioneering families. Military soon stepped in and pushed the tribes back. They reclaim some land from he sea in the homelands and build some fortifications to further push there Neutral status on Europe. Which helps bring the peoples together and also allow for easier troop movements to allow The Ottomans are the first to truly use such a system and they begin to further the technology. Making it stronger and the tracks more durable.
Now about Austria. Things get really bad when the Pope leaves causing the Austrian Emperor to become angry with the new Italian state. He foolishly declares war. (see military events)

In a devastating naval bombard meant on Zanzibar the Portuguese hope that Oman will surrender without any more bloodshed or a ground war. No casualties militarily for either side just yet. As it began in the end of the year.

He sent nearly all his men via sea and they of course met the Italian ships of better quantity and training in the middle of the ocean. The battle lasted an our. All Austrian ships were sunk. The word of this made the ever German northern Austrians really not want to be apart of Austria anymore. So they revolted and the German Reich immediately stepped in to defend the German peoples to and the new territory. This along with revolts in the east made the Emperor extremely mad. So he started attacking the Germans and the Italians with a very small remaining army. Which he lost every battle he tried to send his men into. Losing lots of territory. He is still in power but his country is falling apart. His people are disgusted with him and the Italians and Germans are pretty much taking everything they have the rights to. Because nothing is easier to take than undefended lands. The rest of Europe doesn’t step in during the conflict as the Austrians attempted to start a war and disrupt peace. They are foiled. The rest of Europe sits on peace as Austria is swallowed up whole. (-6 Italian divisions,-4 German divisions, -1 Italian squadrons, - 10 Austrian Squadrons, -24 Austrian Divisions, - Austrian Confidence)

Empire of the West
In the early parts of 1815 Louisianan Empire began an expansion in the north western territories. Which proved highly successful. These territory itself had been for quite sometime marked off by the Empire as territory directly owned by it. But the truth was the territory was wild. Native Americans still controlled the areas. Donatien-Marie-Joseph de Vimeur formally announced a plan of actions to take the territories and end disputes once and for all. So in the spring the military launched a large scale claiming, prospecting and mapping campaign which would last for the better part of the summer and on into the early fall. This proved highly successful and led to the entire territory save for a rather large Native American tribe being completely under control. The India group has no official name but is led by a quite influential chief. Running Wolf. His hatred of white men and the love of the lands of his birth rallied many of his tribes men which led to a strong resistance. But the initial successes were short lived and now he has lost two thirds of his former territories and is highly outnumbered and outgunned. They have ambushed surveyors in the areas whom are apart of the Empires goals at finding resources. Which gained a lot of volunteers.
But the times get better for Louisianan Empire. A new capital has been announced based in Denver. At first the move seemed foolish to the people but proof of disaster hazard and a better centralized location were shown, they soon changed hearts. Along with moving the capital a large immigration accord which led to the city bringing in more and more trade. The areas are now becoming more populated and the rural cities are springing into life as well. Following the expansion in the north west, talks with Canada ensued. The talks were good, a new trade agreement has been reached. Among other things. The immigration of Europeans increases as stories of great amounts of land and cheap for that matter are beginning to show up in Europe. These stories come mainly from the flyers in ports handed out by Louisianan sailors for what soon rumors believe is direct payment from the government of Louisianan. But these rumors may or may not be true.
But now to the juicy bits. The parts that make everyone cringe except the few who enjoy war that is. Officially a new part of the Louisianan military the Légion Etrangère similar to the OTL French Foreign legion. They accept take volunteers, preferably ones with bad backgrounds. And also volunteers from other countries who wish to join up, most notably the Europeans who immigrated and have yet to become full citizens. Now to the war bits. Sonora, as we all have known is just in the wrong place in the wrong century. Unfortunately for them the Empire planned to expand. And the only feasible direction was south. And so plans were drawn up and accepted the Imperial Army was summoned for the invasion along with the ever growing Légion Etrangère.
As a large part of the Sonoran Navy is based in the capital city of Mazatlan. This of course is where the attacks would begin. Under the cover of darkness an attack from the sea began. Fire ships begin burning the ships in the harbor and caught the navy completely off guard. Within a matter of minutes the entire navy was aflame and sinking. And by minutes I mean twenty minutes maximum. After the ships were sunk and the waters were safe. The landing forces approached. Under fire from the inexperienced Sonoran soldiers whom hit a few of the soldiers on the ships but mainly fired blindly as the smoke from still afloat ships screened them from sight. As this is all taking place further bombarded meant from cannons on board the Imperial ships slams into the shore line destroying some buildings and causing a large number of enemy soldiers to simple lay down arms and run. Wouldn’t you? The waters are aflame and the cannons fire is coming out of black smoke at night. it’s a scary sight.
Then to the horror of the remaining Sonora soldiers the landings accorded. Heavily outgunned and inexperienced. They were defeated within a couple of hours and retreated out of the city and back to Durango (EC). To which the Louisianan forces followed and defeated them again leaving much of the city intact. Meanwhile in the east several key advances take place. One by sea and one by land. Both hitting the same area. Which turned out to be over kill as a majority of the forces were in the western parts of the country. The crossing of the Rio Grande with 40,000 men proved to much for the defenses in the area. But when they retreated south to the coastline they met 20,000 more from the sea. And in the trap that was laid accidentally. The forces in these areas were defeated. By the next morning, as the soldiers still marched on the areas were in chaos. The President had been captured the night before in the capital and when the news broke the country fell into anarchy. Perfect for the continued campaigns of Louisianan. As morning broke the rest of the invasion force crossed the borders and came south with relative ease. The resistance they found were small in size as the army dissolved over the course of a day or two. With key military leaders being killed in combat. Areas still remain in resistance but nothing to large scale and mainly in the center of the country. I figured the other military advances wouldn’t be as crucial to go into detail as they were mainly push forward. The key ones were listed.
With the success of this invasion the Emperor, told to secure the islands of Hawaii as a pacific base for trade and naval operations. But she wasn’t the only one with this idea. The British and Russian forces both had plans to get these islands. Which might lead to conflict had they met at the same time. Fortunately the forces of Louisianan arrived first. Securing the island with ease as with the same tactics used in Sonora. Destroyed the Hawaiian fleet with fire ships and preceded to take Honolulu. With the capture of King Kamehameha the islands fell like predicted back into warlord times. Of course they didn’t have much time to be independent as the islands were taken one by one until all resistance was defeated. By the time the campaigns ended a large British and Russian fleet arrived and disgruntled were turned around by the Louisianan fleet and army. They feared war and had not the resources to fight such a well equipped and trained force at the time. And thus the islands were under the Empire. Of which the Empire is the greatest sole country in the Americas at this time. Truly an Empire of the West.

They were defeated within a couple of hours and retreated out of the city and back to Durango (EC). To which the Louisianan forces followed and defeated them again leaving much of the city intact. Meanwhile in the east several key advances take place. One by sea and one by land. Both hitting the same area. Which turned out to be over kill as a majority of the forces were in the western parts of the country. The crossing of the Rio Grande with 40,000 men proved to much for the defenses in the area. But when they retreated south to the coastline they met 20,000 more from the sea. And in the trap that was laid accidentally. The forces in these areas were defeated. By the next morning, as the soldiers still marched on the areas were in chaos. The President had been captured the night before in the capital and when the news broke the country fell into anarchy. Perfect for the continued campaigns of Louisianan. As morning broke the rest of the invasion force crossed the borders and came south with relative ease. The resistance they found were small in size as the army dissolved over the course of a day or two. With key military leaders being killed in combat. Areas still remain in resistance but nothing to large scale and mainly in the center of the country. I figured the other military advances wouldn’t be as crucial to go into detail as they were mainly push forward. The key ones were listed.
With the success of this invasion the Emperor, told to secure the islands of Hawaii as a pacific base for trade and naval operations. But she wasn’t the only one with this idea. The British and Russian forces both had plans to get these islands. Which might lead to conflict had they met at the same time. Fortunately the forces of Louisianan arrived first. Securing the island with ease as with the same tactics used in Sonora. Destroyed the Hawaiian fleet with fire ships and preceded to take Honolulu. With the capture of King Kamehameha the islands fell like predicted back into warlord times. Of course they didn’t have much time to be independent as the islands were taken one by one until all resistance was defeated. By the time the campaigns ended a large British and Russian fleet arrived and disgruntled were turned around by the Louisianan fleet and army. They feared war and had not the resources to fight such a well equipped and trained force at the time. And thus the islands were under the Empire. Of which the Empire is the greatest sole country in the Americas at this time. Truly an Empire of the West.
