Mac's "Great" apparently... but why doesnt it run games?

Mac OS? Crash different!

In addition to being just as unstable as Windows it blows big time.

I have to say that I'm now thoroughly convinced.

I have never seen the most recent Mac OS crash. However, I have to say that their laptop power cords break down after about a year of use. They have a new power cord now, but I'm a little suspicious about it.

How they say Mac = fun. But without games ,the apex of fun, clearly PC has the fun factor tied up. Lies, Mac is full of lies!!!!!!

Also the newest on about upgrading is clearly a trumper up claim to make poor PC look horribly complicated.

Well, you have Civ IV on Mac, that is all that matters for me. Besides, if you really want to play games, buy a videoconsole. If you want a nice computer, buy a Mac.

A lot of my favorite games are not on consoles. But of course, a lot of my favorite games are not on PC.

Either way I don't need a Mac.

Well I wouldn't really say they kick Windows butt because they haven't demonstrated the ability to run on more then one product line so drivers etc are a whole different story. Windows and Linux run on just about everything, apprently even Mac hardware. If Windows only ran on only one product line made by Microsoft then its performance would be very different.

MS has more games because it used PC gaming as a place to expand during the Windows 95 days. The group who invented DirectX has a crazy history of pissing off their own company and establishing relationships with game developers while Mac was focused on other things.

Another big reason is the hardware choices. With Mac you have to buy a G5, with Windows you can build or buy 1 million dream machines that fit your preferences.

It's not that there are no games for Macs. Saying that is wrong. Which computer is more fun is clearly a matter of opinion, and I don't really see how an opinion can be a lie.

Upgrading a Mac isn't very difficult. Put in the CD for the newest version of the operating system, which only comes in one flavor, and then follow the on-screen directions.
