Mad Scientists Nest generation RPC Summary/Bullpen

What about the difficulty mad, will this be a Emperor or Immortal game? I guess Immortal/Epic could work out well with the Byzantines, we all know about the views on medieval warfare on higher levels.

Maybe forges and graneries would be OK, but no science or gold buildings. Lighthouses and harbors probably OK also. No wonders though, and only the national wonders of the HE, WP, MR.

I see the point about the horses and all, perhaps CHA/IMP would be a better fit. Of course providing I have left anything on the map come the Cataphract time .

Difficulty is to be emperor. I much prefer a good story rather than dealing with crazy teching leaders.

So Cyrus of Byzantium, for Fun you could even remove The Wheel and Mysticism add Horseback Riding, replace your warrior with a Chariot and make Mounted Units the only military unit you can build :) More bonus Beakers, but no help at all for your start from bonus techs then.

For a bit of extra variation you could give each Civ an extra settler at the start - that has been quite fun to play in the "Earth Challenge" game Matrix is running right now.

Now, I think this would be cool. There's actually not a GG for Attila. However, you could simply add a GG at the start and rename it Attila. Just go into WB and add the GG unit and then rename it when you exit out. Use the field of view to zoom most of the way in so you don't spoil the map (not quite all the way though as I had trouble adding a unit that close to the ground)

The caveat is that the GG must be added to a Cataphract unit and can get any promos other than Medic II+ (it can take medic/march). In other words, Attila will be an attack unit. A super medic can be created from a GG you generate later and I expect there will be many to come.

Adding the unit at the start is simply so that Attila is there for everyone who plays along. He can simply govern in the capitol city until Cataphracts arrive, then head out to lead the charge.

Not sure what to do about the cities naming convention.

(By the way, Attila is the generally accepted spelling, but technically the double L is correct too - it's the Turkish form of the name.)

with 100 gold so you can run 100% slider for a while, but truth it's fun setup.

got a interesting idea for when you're done with the Huns

A game where you're not allowed to build Settlers and Workers at all, you have to capture cities and workersteal your way :D
